  1. PM me if someone is forcing you to say this. I have people who can get you protection.
  2. I like them. I like most alternate uni's/helmets though. Off the top of my head, I also liked: NT's carbon fiber helmets (so awesome) TCU's alt. blood squirting helmets. Boise state's huge horse head helmets Rutgers, etc. matte black background helmets The one exception is Oregon. Don't like most of what they do. In general people just judge this sort of thing way to harshly.
  3. I'd suggest an armed security force, but that's just me...
  4. We are in many more sections than this. APOGEE DOMINATION!!
  5. Yes, that is the moral you should take from this as well. When the "source" is an 18-21 year old college student-athlete sorting out a situation like this, you should not tweet them. It is that simple. I'd venture to guess that 80% or more on this board and in the general populace would agree with me.
  6. " I posted that while driving" BAM. Another misdemeanor. Please don't reply to this whilst driving.
  7. "sane level of criminal offense? " Ok that is your (notice proper use of your/you're) second word choice offense in two posts. You need to watch it, three in one day and it becomes a WC felony. Three strikes and you're out.
  8. In vane? Seriously? That is a class B word choice misdemeanor. Please pay the clerk on your way out.
  9. As long as they continue the trend from last year (read: showing up in large numbers) I won't worry about any of this. Now - on the alumni side - there is some work to be done, however, I am NOT worried about student turnout at this point
  10. eh, I'd give it a 35% potential truthiness factor. That's pretty high for gmg.com.
  11. You are safely under the Houston area average of 8.5 cats per household.
  12. Maybe next year he can break through the fourth obstacle plateau.
  13. False. You were, of course, enjoying a delicious round(s) of Grey Geese.
  14. Yeah i hear you, but this is the high school equivalent of UNT playing their home games at Gerald J. Ford stadium. Blasphemous.
  15. Oh, I'm sure there are. There is also a whole documented history of e coli infections, deaths to children, etc. Not to mention deaths not reported but attributable to drinking it. Just be aware of the risks, that's all.
  16. From the article Pogue has "ample insurance". I just don't see how this fix would only cost 1 million dollars. They are saying it would take 6 to 8 months to complete the repairs. That cost number sounds woefully underestimated given the scope of repairs and time to fix quoted. I think that number balloons exponentially when all the facts come out and analysis is completed.
  17. So, we should make our life and death decisions based on one person's anecdote? I'd say read the CDC information. It is in fact dangerous to drink it. I'll leave it at that. http://www.cdc.gov/foodsafety/rawmilk/raw-milk-questions-and-answers.html
  18. What a golden marketing opportunity this could be.
  19. Not sure about the unpasteurized milk recommendation. That's a great way to get some awful food poisoning.
  20. Don't lie Wintrich... You DO use the "tear" system.
  21. Tasty I am very glad that you only lost your vision. I saw that same episode and just as they predicted, I grew hair on my hands. I have had to live with the shame if this ever since. Do you know how hard it is to shave around the joints and in between digits? If only I had listened to that sage advice. Self control people.
  22. She even threw out a "go mean green" in one of the stories I watched that she was presenting about UNT. Huge asset to have an insider on WFAASMU. Oops I mean Channel 8.
  23. I really think Cynthia I. is advocating for and maybe even seeking out these UNT human interest stories. I have seen more of these from WFAA since she has been there than in the many years prior to her being there. They always seem to have a positive slant also. The attack interview of the current president was more about affordability in state colleges. I'll give her a pass on that one.
