ah the old Sig Ep house. Greatness. ..ok so yeah it was a piece of crap that I lived in for 2 years. But it was an awesome party place.

Boswell game. There is a certain player on that team who I know personally wants to play for North Texas. I really don't know his skill level but he's serious about wanting to come here. I know he's a big TE but that's about it. Should be fun to watch.

The question is - was it worth it for us to be on TV? I'm not so sure. Maybe someone could convince me with actual facts. I just think our number 1 priority right now is our butts in seats fans. We have to get the alumni side taken care of.

Both my parents had to leave at half. There was a real danger of overheating for them, I was worried. I also had two girls with us age 6 and 11 and they were just not doing well at halftime. It was simply too much but as I said it would have helped some if we were giving out water and other items to help with the heat. We have to be more aware of our fanbase and the issues they are facing.

I have to say that when the temp is over 90% in the blazing sun with almost no breeze you discount water and make it available out in the stands. I personally had to deal with a student fan who nearly passed out near me and my wife. EMTs were called in and I know MANY more people had this issue. $3 for a water and massive lines snaking around the corner to fill water bottles. That's not good. But, we beat SMU's arse. THAT - is. good.

One of my kids goes to an elementary school here in Keller. An email sent a couple of days ago mentioned friday school pride day (today) and mentioned that the kids should wear their favorite school colors on Friday. At the very end of the email he writes "Go Mean Green!" I never even knew the principal went to UNT. Awesome!

I just keep coming back to the fact that College Football is more now than ever a money game. Wins are irrelevant. ULM needs cash and they don't seem to have it. Game over.

I'm going to be there +7 others. Go eagles! and GO MEAN GREEN BEAT UT!! I will be cheering for the eagles and wearing my mean green gear. Going to be weird to be at Apogee not watching the Mean Green.
