  1. Well, ok then, I didn't know they never actually implemented that. That's actually good because I thought it was a bad idea in the first place. Just show up! Can't beat that!!! GMG!
  2. From what I understand, this is no longer an option. Students MUST go by the atheltic office BEFORE the game to get a ticket. They are free, just show a valid student ID. GMG!
  3. What do you mean by : Did he not sell any more season's tickets or were there no seasons tickets for BB sold at all? GMG!
  4. Ooooooo..... TCU in Denton..... I smell a sellout.... GMG!
  5. LOL!!!! That should be the team motto!! GMG!
  6. That is great news! GMG!
  7. Umm.. I don't know about a park. I don't think the univerisity would have paid 400K for a picnic area. Sounds great, but they already have that across the street. They are going to build something big there. As a Sig Ep, who lived in that house, the only reason people lived in the house was because of it's location. Everyone wanted that house torn down as long as getting a replacement was a done deal. I actually lived in the Sierra apts across the street in the area you are talking about as well. That place is nasty. No doubt about it. It needs to be taken down, period. GMG!
  8. Well, that's what I thought. I'll miss that old roach infested place. NOT! Anyway, they are making room for a commons... I hadn't heard that plan. There is a lot of land in between Gateway and the sig ep house. Are they going to tear up that parking lot behind it as well? What exactly is a commons? Is this going to be like a second student center? That area is prime property - probably some of the most expensive land at NT. I'm curious as to what the master plans look like for that area. GMG!
  9. I haven't seen the article yet, but I'm assuming this is the Sigma Phi Epsilon house. So sad. I lived in there my first year at UNT. They actually are soliciting funds (where have I heard that before) for a new house to be built on Fraternity Row. Being the largest national fraternity, it could happen soon with assitance from national housing co. By the way, the Sigma Chi house is being built right next to the area of the Sig Ep house. This is great and will add to the main row greatly. GMG!
  10. Hate to ask this again - but I can't get to the NT daily site - Could someone repost? THANKS! GMG!
  11. Stupid question- what is AAC? The new athletic center - but what does AAC stand for? Is this who has been officially selected to do the construction? GMG!
  12. My wife graduated from UNT with a biology degree. She is currently a stay at home mom - you know what she wants to do eventually? She wants to start her own catering company. Who knew? And she is a damn good cook by the way, a natural talent for her. Sometimes it doesn't matter what you degree is, just that you were taught persistence and the value of hard work. GMG!
  13. Interesting, If we do add 5% we are less than 500 away at around 29,500. I say we just round it up. That's what they teach you in math class, right?
  14. If you take the percentage increase in summer II which was 8.5% and multiply that by the enrollment for last year, which was 28,000 (28,000 x 1.085), the projected attenance in the fall would be (all other things equal) 30,380!!! We break the 30K barrier. Does that calculation make sense or do we have to account for graduations??? GMG!
  15. Has anyone heard any new details about the BB schedule for this year?
