Rick I've agreed with this idea for some time now, and I was watching the Cowboys/49ers and I guess I'm just wondering why we aren't passing more to the tight ends?? Even as conservative as Bill Parcells is I think DD is even more conservative, to the point of ridiculousness. I know they seem to have a case of the dropsies but I don't care. The only way to improve that is with in-game experience. Same with the QB. If you're getting blown out by 55, does it really matter anyway if you're running your gameplan? Try some passing to the tight ends to get Meager some practice if you're considering OOC games scrimmages anyway!

Thank goodness we have the next generation of fanatics (aka untgirl04 and the like) because, honestly, I've been following this team since 1995 and I'm starting to tire of the rah rah when we get beat 54-2 by freaking tusla at home. I'm having flashbacks to the Matt Simon era and that isn't good.

What the hell happened to my adopted player Kerrona Henderson? Is he still with the team? He was tearing things up from the FB position in fall practice and he's what, 220 lbs? Anyone know? Is this another case of DD playing the player with seniority no matter what?

Saw the highlight the day of the game on I believe CBS. I was watching some other game and they broke in with in-game highlights of other games. I was watching the play and I said, "hey that's the titans.." Then I saw the interception and I said- "what number is that? HOLY SH!T THAT'S 55 - IT'S BRAD!!! " I yelled out to my wife and rewound it on Tivo a couple times in disbelief. Amazing play, reminded me of the one he took back for a score vs. Texas Tech. Same area of the field, around to 10 yard line.

I saw at least 2 or three plays where he had plenty of time, at least 5 seconds to make the play. Maybe the recievers were covered but I heard several times people around me commenting on him missing wide open recievers time after time.

Did anyone notice several times players looking to the sidelines with hands in the air in desperation (most likely to get a passing play called in?) I remember on one play watching the tight end throwing his hands up basically to say (COME ON !!!). That was really embarrasing to see the players totally confused and obviously second guessing the playcalling.

I saw some prettly glaring holding done by NT right in front of me. Let's not just dump this on the officiating.

I'm sure this was a stipulation Tusla threw in there in order to agree to play at the landfill we like to call fouts field. In the end we agreed because we couldn't pass up the opportunity to have a winnable OOC team in our house. The positive was the higher attendance, the negatives, well we all know what those are.

Well silver, there are some things I disagree with you on. Right now I feel 100% the same as you on this one. This one is going to hurt for a long, long time. I've lost all of the slim sliver of respect I had for DD built over the last 3 or 4 years. He's now starting from ground zero with me again. The continued quips about "what I have to work with here" are now just that more painful knives in the back. And yet we continue to give him a free pass on that?

I just really would like to know if Darrell Dickey was embarrased by this game. I'm not talking about if he was embarrassed about how his players executed. I'm talking about if HE feels generally embarrassed about the product that HE put on the field this Saturday. I haven't heard ANY responsibility taken on his part for this unprepared mess.
