Note to RV... If we are going to schedule slaughter games, why not pick Texas Tech again? I'd enjoy watching the games and they'd love to be 1 up in the all time series which is right now tied I believe at 4-4.

whoa, crazy situation. So what would happen if the only team with a 6-5 record played and beat 1 D1AA, Akron, and Buffalo and then won 3 of remaining conference games in sunbelt ( so wouldn't have best record in SBC, (maybe even 3rd best or worse) but is the only 6-5 sun belt team. Do they get the pick?? sad if that is true.

absolutely true. The only things we can really control anyway are attendance and montetary giving. If we average 17K this year, I will be very, very happy with that even with a terrible losing season.

Amen bowler. Just because some of the players seem to support their coach through thick and thin doesn't mean the paying fans that really run this program should support him no matter what. I support the success of this program. Not any one head coach. I do support the players and I think they are (maybe they should) be intelligent enough to know my comments are directed at the coaching staff and not them, indirectly or not. This is how every other program in D1A is run. Why should we be so averse to taking a hard look at what's going on in the program? If you disagree fine but don't call me a bad fan because of it. I'm at the games, that's my job and I'm taking care of my responsibility - show up at games and buy season's tickets. - Stan

Well I'm afraid its the chicken/egg here again. We would have no problem charging $25.00 for CUSA home games. Maybe even for WAC home games against Fresno St. and Boise St. Unless we are selling out fouts at $16 a game, how can we justify bumping that up to 20 or 25?
