I'm using a Roku stick

I am wireless streaming for Sling currently. I probably should be using a electric line adapter but I'm just too lazy to purchase and set it up. I wish there was a cheaper and easier way. I'm sure it would be better that way and eventually I'll get around to doing it. It just feels weird to set up a ~$100 adapter for one connection at a time. Meh. One clarification, Sling does buffer up front however in the past that buffering was not enough to prevent pauses and clocking. Now the buffering is enough to keep video going but at times the reduction in resolution makes some shows almost unwatchable. As I said, I'm streaming wirelessly so a hard wired connection may provide better results. So, in summary my conclusion on the current state of Sling TV (much better with the addition of Fox Sports Southwest by the way recently - Rangers!)

I have Sling, have had it for I guess since it started up basically. Reliability at the beginning, first 6 months was almost unusable. For some background, I have 75M down/up Fios. So the pipe is plenty big enough. I am running it over a wideband Fios N router. In the most recent 6 months it has become what I would call "fairly reliable". It will not buffer but it annoyingly drops down to sub hdtv resolutions for minutes at a time when I'm watching the Rangers for example. Overall I'd say it is acceptable but barely. I'm only tolerating it because it is easy to use and the price is right.

Marcus Trice and Making UNT the New "U"

Fight Club 17? Is that what the UNT17tm is up to these days? Maybe that's why we don't hear much about this group. We all know what the 3 rules of the Fight Club are. -

125M for 25K seats??? Are the seats gold plated? -
I think RV needs to reassign his GMG.com watchers to be Wal Mart greeters dressed up in an old person disguise. Check for team members entering and...

Great, one more thing we can fail at - sewing.

I see you post this often. What exactly do you mean by that comment? That could be taken several different ways.

I was going to write a response but I'm too jaded to even think up a retort. You win, I guess.

I understand your point but I sat through games in the dickey era with 500 fans. Many of them. So it is all relative.

What I really loved about the Georgia video that ours seem to lack is clips of fans celebrating/getting into games. Don't tell me we don't have fans, I know attendance isn't great but where are the pumped up crowd shots?? You get a couple of images from the HOD bowl and then, nothing. Empty Apogee?? and players making plays and celebrating seemingly by themselves. Put those in between the game footage and then it becomes about how WE are a part of all of this as well. Too much of this just perpetuates the negative reputation that NT sports has no support from the fans or that we are non-existent. Darrell Dickey would have loved the latest NT production because he would have said - "See men, it's just like I've been telling you all along, we get no support from administration, fans, Denton, nobody! You're all going to do this for each other. It's us (the players) vs everyone (no fans here to help us so we're on our own)" We've moved past that actually but you wouldn't know it from watching this latest video. Another thing that rubbed me the wrong way was the WE'RE GOING TO PUT UP POINTS!!!!!!!11 Ah, yes - points are great aren't they? I'd rather it said in huge letters, we're going to: WIN.

I've seen Tee Goree do it. He could be that guy...

I'm worried about UNT90. Is he sick? Taking the day off?

Next thing you know he's going to make up some nonsense about players with "five" stars!!! *Spits milk out of nose*

The quality is high on average, but the quantity is concerning. Sets up next year to be a huge project to get a very large class requiring lots of recruiting work. Overall B

Mason Fine QB Locust Grove OK - SIGNED LOI

Wisdom is rated relative to one's age anyway. I wouldn't expect a 19 year old to have the wisdom of a 40 year old man. Relative to other quarterbacks that make ill advised decisions due to ego issues, that I have a problem with. I'm not saying he does or doesn't have it but that's the concern that we'll see play out. I'm far too jaded to just look at some questionable recruit videos and hear about why we should all be jumping for joy over a recruit with virtually no other offers. I want to believe but I'm completely unwilling to get excited until I see him in the spring game really making impressive plays. That's the starting point for my real interest I'd say. -

I'm well past entertainment at this point. Todd Dodge's seasons were very entertaining. Wins, not so much. I'll take wins over entertainment and wisdom over intelligence. -

Like I mentioned earlier, he's Riley Dodge 2.0, almost at a cloned level IMO. The question is can he avoid the pitfalls that Riley couldn't. I'd say it is some of the same pitfalls that caused problems for Romo, Manziel. Here's my concerns: 1.) Can he take a hit? will he get injured in the first game and stay injured throughout the season? 1a.) Can he avoid a hit? That doesn't mean don't run. Lose the ego and take a slide. 2.) Can he make quick accurate throws that don't look like lobs? 3.) Can he accurately hit receivers deep? Consistently? I swear if I see any more throws into obvious double coverage getting there late like last year... 4.) No happy feet stupid last second prayers into defenders hands. Romo, I'm looking at you. -
Honestly don't recall the name. Was a linebacker I believe.

Oh right you're referring to "The Miracle". Such the darned thing that happened there. He was completely symptom free after stepping foot in University Park. Healin' powers I tell ya, Healin' powers.

I think Todd Dodge must have been feeding his players lots of cokes or something. I'm just guessing it had something to do with the better husbands or fathers thing, a way to keep them away from the hard stuff. I guess in the end that strategy backfired and one of our players left due to 'diabetes issues'. It's an epidemic really.

We have a painful team history with diabetes issues. Best to stay away from the sugary drinks.
