Kragthorpe was on the staff at North Texas - back in 1994-1995. Following his four-year stint at NAU, Kragthorpe became the offensive coordinator at North Texas in 1994, spending two years with the Mean Green. At North Texas, he coordinated an offense that led the conference in total offense. While there, he coached quarterback Mitch Maher who broke single-season school records for passing yards and total offense. After two seasons, he then moved to Boston College where he spent the 1996 season as quarterback coach, coaching current NFL signal-caller Matt Hasselbeck.

I agree at times like this football takes a back seat to life. OUr thoughts should be with coach Dickey and his family. I am sure the staff will be able to handle and additional responsibilities.

we have two road games before LA tech comes in.. They are not here till November 4.

I thought it was called about right.. I actually told the people next to me that I thought it was about 17,000.. There were lots of holes around.. especially on the student side and on the ends of the alumni side.

I remember in the past think the same thing we never compete in OCG. But we steam roll through the sunbelt. I think that it shows the difference in the speed of the game on defense. I expect for us to be able to run the ball more effectively in sunbelt play, defense will be no were close to what we have seen in the last two games. Once you get the feeling of success it also helps the team feel like it can move against anyone. I wish we would schedule a Iaa to open the season so that the team could get the feel for success before anything else.. I think it would make the world of difference. See everyone next Tuesday- Lets feel the stands and show the team that we support them.

Looks like they are planning on Layfette LA.. But that has not be finalized yet.

Is there going to be any TV coverage of the North Texas game in the Metroplex?? I would think someone would want to show it.
