  1. Kindly calm down. "loose this game!" is a long standing tradition here.
  2. If we can get it together at halftime, there is still a chance. LT is not playing their best either.
  3. At least this one was against them
  4. I think you are wrong. Our motto is: Selfless Tough Discipline.
  5. Nice to hear our band there. They are doing a great job.
  6. It's a mess. Try this https://www.facebook.com/StadiumCollegeFootball/videos/685708705172099/
  7. Trivia question. When was the last time we beat a ranked opponent?
  8. We were ranked #20 in the API poll in 1976. A great year for North Texas athletics.
  9. Singing glory to the Green Singing glory to the White For all I know is black's addition is making us all uptight. Down the corridor of years Gray will enter too, I fear At North Texas, North Texas, who cares?
  10. It is not the first time, unfortunately.
  11. Yes, we have seen that black addition and I would like to know how this happened. My guess is that some staffer took it upon themselves to add black without any mandate from the students. Does anyone know the story here? On the UNT website under traditions, this is what it says: (I think they mean to say, "We are the Mean Green") Green and White One of the earliest official references to our school colors of green and white appears in the 1907 Yucca yearbook, although a former student recalled that they were selected in 1902-03 when someone suggested Mother Nature would be kind to those using her colors. Today, green is a way of life at UNT, where our sustainability programs and environmental research have brought us national recognition. We Mean Green!
  12. Yes, the most recent ESPN poll has us staying home this year.
  13. Some of the other old timers may want to weigh in on this but when I was a student in the early 70's, Fouts usually looked pretty full. Granted, the capacity was only 20,000 but we had good crowds for the most part. The college had an enrollment of about 16,000 and there were only around 35,000 living in Denton County.
