When players are announcing they are entering the portal is it up to the team if they allow them to stay and play in a bowl game? Or, is it safe to assume that anyone that says they are entering the portal will not be playing in their teams ball game. P.S. thinking more of Sam Houston in this question than us for example. They've had seems like almost their entire defense hit the portal.

For coordinators, there always seems to be the debate over experience vs. "up-and-coming," and we can only hope this is the right move for the program at this time. PS - The two position coaches I would prefer always to see a lot of experience - O-Line and D-Line, but especially O-line.

I honestly don't believe that's a problem with what we're able to provide financially. My opinion, which could be wrong, is that Morris still does not have the coaching maturity and self-confidence to surround himself with people who have a lot of experience and might not blindly follow his philosophies.

Not to disagree, but I thought it had been reported Caponi was the highest-paid G5 coordinator.

The dislike for Coach O is incredible and this just shows what type of fans we truly have. His job is to get interaction with high school players and coaches and he's done a better job of that than anyone in the history of this school. His job is to get them looking at us and willing to talk to the school and that is happening.

Great point, however I think we all failed to, and most importantly Mosley failed to understand this guy had absolutely no concept of defense. I wonder how much more is trying to be the offensive coordinator and head coach has hurt him. This game seems to be too much at this level for him.

News flash everyone with today's NIL you turn most your roster over every year so having a coach guaranteed to be here 4 to 5 years is not going to keep players around. I'm off or having a scented base contract that says for every year you went seven games or more we add a year to your contract but no more long-term guarantees especially on a coach who has never successfully coached at the FBS level PS also they may be great guys but no more hiring graduate assistance to coach your offensive and defensive lines.
