  2. I believe that there are a lot of quality JUCO players being overlooked due to the portal. It seems the pecking order has become portal, HS, then JUCO if anything is left.
  3. A little early on my original prediction ...
  4. I know the original picture for Coach Morris left much to be desired, but it looks like they updated it on their site.
  5. Maybe this changes as the season goes on, but it looks like these guys were added purely for depth. I know it seems like the NIL money is never-ending for some of these schools, but hopefully, things change at some point.
  6. Shout out to Eric for wearing the Green in enemy territory.
  7. It could be a version of Scrappy?
  8. There is something different there; I can't tell what it is. There are also a couple of more that have the double stripe down the middle.
  9. I do agree that it often gets frustrating trying to figure out what is allowed and what is not and why some threads are moved. Others are allowed to stay in specific forums (I would be remiss if I did not add my example of our Mods/Admins seeming infatuation with the hits that SMU-themed threads get as an example and allow them to stay in the UNT Football Forum). But you bring up some very excellent points. It seems we're getting to where more and more people believe they are owed explanations for any questions they may have and that once you provide an answer, some will start pushing for a reason for your explanation.
  10. Maybe the Mods could comment on their seeming infatuation with all things SMU.
  11. This is where the problem might be. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but there are a handful of posters who have said the same message over and over and over. It seems to have quickly gone from voicing their opinions to trying to see if they say it enough it will get a larger following. P.S. - If anything should be deleted, it is all the F'ing SMU posts. That is a much worse reflection on this board than fans pissed at the coach, making the UNT fans look bad. The longer they stay tells me much more about what's important to the Mods than cutting off "Morris" comments (and sometimes it doesn't seem to be UNT).
  12. Since I am bringing politics into this maybe the mods will lock it down
  13. This I agree with 100%. Sad that this board values getting views so highly that they allow SMU material to stay on the F'ing UNT Football board.
  14. @NorthTexasSportsNetwork Great work. Thank you!
  15. Coach O has brought more social media attention to UNT than quite possibly all sources before him and probably 99+% of those on this board, but by all means, go after this guy for pushing back when most people turn on his boss.
  16. At least put this shit on the Realignment forum. Mods - I know the clicks are important, but please stop letting the UNT football forum be used to promote SMU. Honestly, it makes this site look bad.
  17. @Harry Who is the Mod for this forum? Time to start pushing out the SMU topics. This crap is getting old.
  18. I am all for trying to limit access to the inside parts of college campuses. My son goes to UTEP, and they removed streets and parking lots to build what they call Centennial Plaza
  19. Just a general observation, but first in the California game and now in this game against Louisiana Tech, their backup quarterbacks have come in and seem to provide more offensive firepower than their starters. At this rate, I hope we face only starters from this point forward.

  20. Thank you @Harry. We seemed to tackle better this last game, but tackling has gotten worse all around. We complain, rightfully so, but man, are there a lot of teams having problems. I'm not sure if it is due to how they have changed practice rules or if too many of these players are more concerned with making highlight-reel tackles. Hopefully, the off week is filled with back-to-basic tackling drills.
  21. It seems like all programs are asked to join in hopes that they can add and bring something to the conference. Don't you think our proximity to the DFW market was vital to us getting in, especially when Aresco knew SMU wanted out?
