The next thing for some people to blame on RV

At first they talked about “Why would Dodge go there?” and how DD was let go because of 1 or 2 bad years. Then it was that this was a better for UNT tan Dodge – Can he survive against all the money games? Finally it was that it’s really a Win-Win for both

These are great time to be Green and to be excited about the future of our program. However, don’t set the standards so high (i.e. - TD = Savior) so that anything short of 10 win seasons seems like disappointments. Let’s support Dodge but at the same time let’s not put him in a “no-win” situation.

Instead of the little footballs we throw out little green dodge-balls This would be a great time to work with the local Dodge dealers – see who is most willing to support the Mean Green. Of course if the Dodge dealers don’t step up we could work out something with another dealer (envision – Todd Dodge stepping out of a Ford Truck saying something along the line of “This Dodge drives a Ford”)

I hope TD will be HC/OC and we will spend a little extra on a quality Defensive Coordinator. A high powered offense can be wasted if the Defense can not stop teams – Please see NMSU this year – Hal Mumme’s O was wasted.

Most likely people who do not want UNT to have a chance for success.

IMO it’s somewhere between a Class move and a way for DD and MM to do a re-take after the original emotional decisions were made.

Agree for the most part. There are so many questions regarding this whole time frame – do you keep out all players from year “X” to “Y”?

I know this will most likely get me blasted - but most "X"-Americans (put in Irish, African, German, etc.) where not born in those countries. The fact is that most references to our past have nothing to do with the present. P.S. – I am not too naive to know that a lot of people probably fly the Confederate flag for racial reasons, but a lot of people keep it because they are told not to and are offended that others try and dictate what parts of their heritage they can and can not maintain.
