Dodge Comments (generalized) – 100% confident he will win at UNT Looks forwards to being a part of the process to get a new stadium I thought he did a good job when they tried to down-play UNT’s facilities and the Sun Belt. Basically pointed to the fact that whatever conference you are in you strive to win the Conference championship and th facilities are not as bad as some think.

You can beat better talent by being better prepared and having a solid game plan. The most talented team does not always win – or there would never be big upsets.

To give an example – It’s like when you’re driving over the speed limit and a police car with lights flashing comes up behind you – then passes you!!! Boy that feels good!

Did not get to hear the entire PC – but I did hear him speak about getting together with the current players after the holidays. I thing it’s good for him to stay with his current team until the playoff area over for them (December 23rd if they make the finals – Never heard January 23rd). I think he will have a good relationship with HC coaches because he will play off the “I’m one of you”, and by staying with his HS team he is showing respect for the HS game.

I don’t think many have ever expected wins against the UT’s, OU, etc. – However we should be competitive occasionally. What we should expect is very competitive games and wins against the Tulsa’s, LaTech’s and so forth.

Maybe Dodge can make a deal with the “other” HC coaches – help me with players and I’ll stay in College, if not I’ll come back to High school!

First off I believe TD will be very successful at UNT. That being said this is a vital time in the direction the future of UNT football will take in my opinion. With all of the great and widespread positive exposed we are receiving there is one thing that seem consistent – There is a lot of respect and faith in Todd Dodge. I believe the general thought if “Dodge-Ball” does not work will be that you can not succeed at North Texas. If things should not work out there will be a widespread (more than usual) call that UNT is an “Un-winnable” situation. But I do not see this happening – We will move forward!!!!
