    This is the hindsight is the 20/20 headscratcher. Also, didn't we leave some scholarship slots unfilled? I am very interested to see how Morris handles year two and his planning/strategy changes.

    With all due respect, how do you know that? While NIL dollars play a significant part, at their level, it's very similar to other schools (Texas, LSU, SEC, and BIG10 schools). Perhaps some of those players, considering them, asked their coach his opinion, and he did not have anything favorable to say about A&M due to Fisher.

    Reminder (and correct me if I am wrong) - Transfers (from other 4-year schools) do not sign and are not official until they are enrolled

    Not to put a negative Twist on it, but in the world of the transfer portal, if you have a true freshman who should be on the field, is it worth redshirting them?

    Does that mean you're happy with a one-bid conference? Personally it's hard for me to understand how someone that is a fan of North Texas cannot want the conference to stand out as well as possible.

    As if we do not have a hard enough time trying to tackle the other team it frustrates me when our players are trying harder to strip the ball from the other player than wrapping him up and getting the stop. We have given up a lot of junk yardage from trying to strip the ball versus tackling.

    This was a combination of an inexperienced head coach combined with an inexperienced athletic director. As an athletic director if you hire an air raid coach and do not make sure they have a good plan to bring in a defensive coordinator who is proven then this is what you're asking for.

    No one is saying our season has not been disappointing, but with an unbalanced schedule, if you don't think it's made a difference, then you probably like to bitch to hear yourself bitch.

    From what I understand historically a medical school is very important and can be a major swaying point. While they say it is not mandatory without having one you have to be really on top of the other areas.
