  1. We have flipped a couple, but have we had any commits flip today?
  2. There are QBs available, and some more might be available after the Bowls. With all of the QBs who have transferred, another wave of QBs will be available after Spring ball. After his work with Ward and now Morris, I find it hard to believe that there will not be QBs who would like to learn under Morris.
  3. If someone looked at SFA' past 3 or 4 seasons they would get what your saying. For these players we're flipping from FCS schools, hopefully the staff if doing a good job projecting their ability to keep progressing and also their ability to add weight.
  4. Was mentioned by @TheReal_jayD that last year Rogers did not come on board until January 10th. Still lots of time.
  5. He just posted this
  6. Could some of these O-linemen (or ones we already have) get moved to the D-line? I'm not going to panic until it is all over, but having had the WORST defense in FBS, I had hoped to see "more" emphasis on the defense. I hate to think of another year of "Air Raid" defense where the thought is you can outscore everyone else (which usually ends up with a .500 record).
  7. He could wind up like Denton's Spence Sanders - Transfer as the starter and sit on the bench. I guess the NIL was more important than playing (hopefully, he had performance clauses and got very little). P.S. To put the topping on his final season, he's academically ineligible for the bowl game.
  8. I saw somewhere today a Redshirt-Senior in the portal was listed with his major as undecided. Tell me again about the student-athletes.
  9. Just as with tampering P5 schools would not let anything like a dead period get in their way anyway. They have been emboldened by the NCAA to cheat all they want to and not worry about any repercussions
  10. The dead period is a time when college coaches can't have in-person contact with prospective student-athletes. However, coaches can still communicate with recruits by phone, text, direct message, or email
  11. I hope your right
  12. That 24 hour window where P5s will start trying to fill their remaining spots with players they did not want last week ......
  13. Probably a combination. I wonder how many players are going to screw up their taxes.
  14. To hear more and more players, these monster NIL deals are not paying as much as is being advertised. There seem to be a lot of these deals that are tied to performance, and when some of these young players are not playing enough to put up numbers, those NIL checks are not as large as they thought they would be.
  15. Is this a jab at Coach O?
  16. We have had, at least announced, an excellent week; hopefully, they will follow through on Wednesday. That being said, I would be lying if I did not mention that I had hoped there would be an announcement on a QB and more ready-to-play (transfers) DL/LBs. I'm not sure how a QB would not be interested in playing in Morriss' system (and with all of the receivers we are getting, maybe there is something they are sharing with them). Hopefully there is some good news coming Wednesday, as I would hope for the potential QB1 to be here for the Spring.
  17. On Twitter/X he mentioned we were his 5th D1 offer. Has some decent tape. Might be a late bloomer.
  18. Truth be told, if we were in a Bowl game, we might not be doing this well.
  19. I took a quick look, so it might be off a bit - here is the FBC on-the-field coaching experience for the assistants before Morris hired them: *Neither DC nor OC had previous coordinator experience
  20. If there was an effort to keep Stone, then with all due respect, the QB recruiting might not be going too well.
  21. This 100%. It's almost as if he underpaid PC (based on what he paid others) since he knew he wanted to stay at UNT.
