Doesn't it seem a little curious that many Democrats have no problem pushing for packing the court to be loaded with liberals and help to implement their agendas but then say it's a terrible thing if conservatives have a majority and push conservative values? Personally, I enjoy being able to have a discussion with those who don't have the same viewpoints as I do, and I do respect those who are consistent and believe that if something's right, it's right. If something's wrong, it's wrong, regardless of which side it is coming.

It would be nice to have a "what the hell does this mean" guide.

I believe what you're seeing is caused by more than one factor. As mentioned above the large High School class last year is probably the biggest issue. I also believe that there willing to wait a little longer because as we've all seen commitments at this point in time don't mean anything and quite a few good players slip through last year to teams you would not have thought they would go to.

Some people question why so many posters are not posting anymore. Maybe they are tired of the Mods allowing a UNT board to give a free run of the boards to posters from other schools. I don't believe I have seen this on other school boards outside of game week.

Sadly, the Universities, and you might say even more so, the "student" athletes, seem to be stressing this point. The schools are saying, "We need your money, but you have no say in anything," and even worse, IMO, many of the athletes seem to have the attitude that we, as fans/alums, "owe" them. Look. Let them get paid; I'm not sure I even care that much anymore, but please note, at least for me, I am watching to support MY University. Just as when I watch a "pro" game, these players are now open to fair play and absolute and thunderous public criticism if they do not perform. These players want to be treated like pros, but remember that it is not always only the "good" parts. Last rant for now. I am 100% against students at ANY university any longer being mandated to pay an "athletics" fee. These players have demanded professionalism, and it is not the other student's responsibility to support them!

I understand the "clean" look, but once again, we failed at using one of the best names (Mean Green) on our uniforms. Not sure what's on the back, but I hope there are no player's names.

Right there with you!

I'm just guessing, but I am sure most preliminary searching and vetting took place a while back. In many of these hires, what might seem like a "rushed" decision was in process for a while.

Reece Mooney and Stone Earle could be gone too

I wish him well, but if he goes to ACU, I am not sure he will beat out Maverick McIvor.
