They screwed up they get suspended okay. My problem is going to be if the coaches have been using them the first/second team snaps especially the case of Spruiells (based on the way Morris has spoke).

1 - it seems like in games with powerschoolers versus a non-power conference the announcers are paid by the ass kissing comments they make for power schools. A couple of games you almost have to turn the volume off to avoid getting nauseous 2 - Reffing is getting worse while the refs seem more arrogant and determined to be a part of the outcome.

***OFFICIAL UNT vs. SOUTH ALABAMA IN-GAME DISCUSSION***

Strange how other teams are letting players play with DWIs and so forth. I guess we can always say our coaching staff has more moral values. -
QB TRANSFERS HAVE TAKEN OVER COLLEGE FOOTBALL
El Paso Eagle replied to Ross Hodgeson's topic in Mean Green Football
One might say you're doing a good job just talking about what NIL was supposed to be about and not the pay for play that this has become. I think what put off a lot of people is the fact that players are being paid to play and there's no way around it it's doing some bogus appearances -
***OFFICIAL UNT vs. SOUTH ALABAMA IN-GAME DISCUSSION***
El Paso Eagle replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
Exactly. You have a coach who preaches the game is all about the me and that the team comes somewhere after that. -
In just a week of watching football I have heard multiple players described as being on their third or fourth team. Let's just cut out any crap that they're in it for an education anymore there is no way these guys are graduating from a college if they're going to three or four colleges during a four to five year period.

Thursday and Friday nite games
El Paso Eagle replied to meangreenfaninno's topic in Mean Green Football
They could have put up 100+ in the first half if they wanted to. I think SFA played one of their DBs at QB near the end I think the 2022 was due to ICW going back to the Southland, and they had to scramble to find a game. I'm not sure what the hell last night was about. -

They played two 5-minute quarters in the second half. That was one of the worst college football teams I've ever seen -

Dude was more than given a shot and could not produce when it counted. Pretty crappy taking a shot at the fan base.

I'm not the biggest fan of the helmet, but overall, it looks nice.

I would guess they will maintain the modification for HC changes. -
NCAA MOVING TO A SINGLE TRANSFER WINDOW?
El Paso Eagle replied to El Paso Eagle's topic in Mean Green Football
There is also a move to allow players to play in four games as well as any postseason games and maintain their red shirt -

I guess coach was trying to use this as a make us feel good about ourselves game. Not understanding why he left the starters in as long as he did. I guess with all the complaints about scoring he wanted to run up the score to make the stats look good at least (sort of like when Seth would leave in Aune to pile on stats). This would have been a great opportunity to get a lot of the backups playing time in the event they need to play later on.
-
Coaches who do not have their backup QBs anywhere near ready to play. You can quickly tell the difference between staff who take the time to prepare their QB2 and those who don't. I know; the first thought is, "They have to make sure their QB1 is ready to go". However, with the injuries that seem to happen every year, all of the "advancements" in coaching and the fact that they can get the backups at 21 other positions ready will make you shake your head in frustration if it happens to your team.
