  1. You know someone says something outlandish when coffee and I are in agreement
  2. I realize they are on different sides of the ball, but is it this "normal" to have so many numbers duplicated (this continues through the 20's)? Combine this with the fact that the powers-that-be (Seth?) has decided that there do not need to be names on the backs, I can understand how casual fans could be confused.

  4. My problem is most of these Mayor and other Politicians away from the Border did not give a crap, until it hit home for them. It was always someone else's problems.Trump was blasted by many for a lot of the same policies Obama was praised for. A lot of the pictures and videos used by the media to condemn Trump's border policies were actually taken during the Obama years. No one I know is against "legal" immigration, so sorry, the party line of "cultural diversity" does not work. I worked in Mexico for years and the people who took the time to do it correctly had no problem with us controlling the borders, or the wall. Most think it's a joke that we don't try and control our borders. The biggest complaint I would hear was why should I do it through the system when I can get there a lot easier just going across. Bottom line - Neither party has done a good job at finding a solution in Congress. where it needs to be resolved.
  5. @UNT 90 Grad
  6. I hope he stays around for a while and "motivates" all of the schools to improve
  7. Since the old Soviet Union broke apart they don't have near the trade capital
  8. UTEP historically get a good size walk-up crowd. Also not sure how they are accounting for student tickets
  9. I'm sure he will find a way to do it while saying someone else "advised", instead of speaking up as the President!
  10. If a QB emerges who the coaches have the confidence in that he can, when needed, step up and win the game for us, verses the best option being one that they hope plays well enough not to lose the game, then 7 to 8 is possible.
  11. I know if it was my family member I would be all in, but this looks to be a dangerous man Viktor Bout, a Russian arms dealer known as the "Merchant of Death" whose weapons sales fueled deadly conflicts around the world, could be sent back to his motherland in exchange for WNBA star Brittney Griner and retired U.S. Marine Paul Whelan. Russian officials have long pushed for the release of Bout, who is currently serving a 25-year sentence in U.S. prison after being convicted in 2011 of conspiracy to kill Americans, conspiracy to deliver anti-aircraft missiles, and aiding a terrorist organization. "Moscow wants him back because he possesses critical insights that he can share with the GRU, his former agency. Having been in a U.S. prison and interrogated by U.S. officials, he knows what our intelligence requirements are and other information that is valuable for the Russians,"
  12. Agree. You will probably catch hell from those who are "we would not be on the same level as the P5 dreamers" for making this suggestion.
  13. With Miami, Florida State, and ND the Big10 looks to be going away from their AAU membership criteria.
  14. So being a non-profit basically means a university has to find a way to spend all of the money they bring in? So endowments are not considered as part of the "profit" formula?
  15. But they were still optimistic during the offseason.
  16. Don't get me wrong, I really hope you are right. I hope Seth has a great season and we actually earn our way into a Bowl and then show up and perform. However in over 35 years of following NTSU/UNT I can never remember seeing a less optimistic offseason. I don't think anyone here wants to see Seth fail, or Wren, but they do seem to put the fanbase on a low priority. The problem is not the die-hards who will come on the fan forums, but having the ability to fire up the average fans.
  17. SEC and Big 10 - 4 each = 8 slots Big12/ACC/Pac - 6 slots At-Large - 2 slots - ND in if in top 16 - rules will be set to make it hard for a G5
  18. I would tend to agree more if we did not pay a coach almost 2 mil a year to be under 500 for the past three years in a conference that has not been very good.
  19. Not usually a fan, but I hope she goes through on her planned visit - especially since China is pissed about it. https://www.reuters.com/world/china/china-confirms-warnings-us-pelosis-possible-taiwan-visit-2022-07-25/ Hopefully the President makes it clear on his upcoming call with Chinese President Xi that China will never be allowed to tell us who we can visit.
