It's hard to understand what their priorities are for the additional teams. Is it investment in programs and potential growth and market? I know this is a pretty football crazy board but is it only football their concerned about? What about the other sports?

The problem is with our defense it's hard to imagine we will stop anybody from scoring and at the offense doesn't click we're in trouble

The there had better be a new one question is who will be the defensive coordinator next year.

We did not seem ready to play against SFA and I don't know what that was today but this team was not motivated. You're still early enough if you could motivate this team and get a win against Wyoming perhaps you could change the fortunes of the rest of season. But as of this point, combine the fact that our defensive coordinator is not good with the fact that we've seen nothing to show that this staff can motivate a team. I am not too optimistic.

Good point. Not sure if we didn't get caught up in the case of an inexperienced head coach candidate who really good at interviewing and a selection committee that maybe did not For whatever reason dig deeper. Look, I am by no means an expert, but either way, if I had an inexperienced candidate come in who was a standout on either side of the ball, I would hope that I would insist that they hire a coordinator for the side they are not going to cover who is experienced. I mean, no disrespect to Eric Morris, but I don't think we needed him so bad that he could have said if you don't agree with everything I want to do, I won't be coming on board.

Morris is a good offensive coordinator who was given the shot to be a head coach. Similar to Seth. Hopefully, it doesn't take Morris as long to realize he needs to turn the defense over to someone who knows what they're doing.

But just because you want to run a wide-open offense does not mean you cannot have a good defense. With Morris, it is still to be seen if he seriously considers defense a top priority. As of this point, nothing he's done has shown that he does.

I am just curious if you are somehow advocating that Seth should have been kept on as the HC.

Sadly they could have put 80 to 90 points on us today but took pity on us. The first half of this was about as bad as anything above, outside of possibly Portland State.

Good point. That's why he needs to make a change of defensive coordinator immediately. To use the analogy of a CEO it's like that we had the highest paid sales rep in our industry and he sucked and yet we continue to pay in the same salary and brought him back. You are correct that does rightfully question Morris's decision making.
