Agree it's going to be wild. Part of me wishes the MW would lock in their 6 or 7 team and then lock in UTEP and NMSU. It seems he is working on revenue plans that can make it possible for teams that perform well to be compensated. This could have also been a factor in their decisions. Agree. But remember, many of these same teams did the same thing when they were in the WAC.

There seems to be some debate on this. There are reports saying that based on their bylaws, once you announce you are leaving, you no longer have a vote.

For his first significant "let's all panic moment," it seems he is up to the challenge. There is a lot that will/could happen in the next few days, but for now, he is protecting the conference well. I hope he shares his plan to make sure the AAC remains the top non-power conference.
