i'll end up doing rosters by hand, but only for NT. as for stadiums, EA will probably have the vidscreen in this year's version. considering that it was finished long before the end of the 2003/4 season, i'm sure EA can patch a few polys together. i'm hoping they have alternate uni's as well as the fight song.

NCAA, more or less because it's more relevant to me right now. I don't really identify with any of the NFL teams, so I've always done a fantasy draft with whatever team has the nicest uni's that year. I also found myself lacking the time to play both games and manage the rosters and whatnot for two teams. I heard this is the last year Madden will be on the staff for EA's NFL series. I'm not sure who they'll replace him with, but I think the series will be alright without him.

i just became part of DART, the denton airsoft group, and i was buying some equipment from a guy that won't be able to play because of work. well, i'm cutting the check for him, and i ask for his last name. "villarreal" he says, but i pay the name no real mind. then he asks if i go to NT, and after i say, "yeah, at the games all the time", he says he's RV's son. just an odd tidbit.

e-bone, that'd be sweet, with the alumni/contributor standings based on your wins, etc. as for conference realignment: -allow for realignment of ALL schools at the start of dynasty mode. this just in case the conf's change and that way, the players can also fiddle around with what would happen if school X was win conference X. -during dynasty mode, allowing teams to shift in any direction on the conference ladder, possibly with shuffles every 2 years or at the player's discretion, to be set at the start of dynasty mode? -i think they'll leave the conf's as they are just before the season starts. it did make me happy that roster size expanded because i really couldn't stand cutting players that could have had real impact in 2 or 3 seasons in the future.

for those of you that do the video game football thing: this year's NCAA football: - home field specific chants - home field advantage: noise level and intimidation factor affect how audibles are heard/not heard and how the the team performs - match-up: allows you to place your fast WR on a slow DB and vice-versa - deeper dynasty mode: monitor team discipline, gpa, and player transfers - rosters and recruiting improved: you can recruit a player as an 'athlete' and try them out at different positions, rosters are now expanded to something like 75 players - "create a fan" allows you to make a fan and customizable game signs im hoping we see the famous "north! texas!" chant as well as "the grenade" celebration and taylor casey's "gorilla" celebration. most importantly: I WANT OUR FIGHT SONG!

Three really great foreign horror films that could possibly make you toss out your US horror flicks: "The Eye"- a girl gets an eye transplant and starts to see things...a fairly decent story, but the way the director scares the audience is great. The film was done on a very small budget, but it's well done. Filmed in China and Thailand "Tomei Replay"- a girl has a dismembered human head removed from her abdomen. The head grows a body and things get ugly from there. The Japanese director takes a manga story and turns it into a good film. "Ringu"- the Japanese fim that "The Ring" was based upon...much more frightening than the US version.

it's part of a computer's directdraw/graphics suite. its basic function is to help your computer run games and any other software that may be 3D-graphics intensive. it's also a system process, which also means that it will run no matter what (as far as i know). unfortunately, i can't really figure out why ddhelp might be interfering with your antivirus software. it really shouldn't. i'd recommend downloading new drivers for your video/grapics card. this is strange because antivirus and graphics software almost never interfere with each other like this. new drivers should relieve this problem.

Hmm...not too sharp on baseball games, but here are few sites for you to check if you haven't already: Gamespot.com GameFAQs.com GameSpy.com They all have great review sections; GameFAQs has player reviews for its games, and it has a pile of player-written game guides for practically any game ever made. -
Dag-nabbit, everyone I know was really wild about that game. All that running and cold air wasn't nice to my legs...can barely walk today. The cheerleaders thing has to really be better than this. If the whole UNT Dance team can make it out, then why not the cheerleaders? More importantly, why not Scrappy? *Considers suiting up Eppy and rockin' it out there for the Alumni*

the Real Story....

You could give that a shot, but you'd have to find a way to make yourselves student-oriented or involved with the Student Activities people...not sure how you could pull that off, but if you can find a way to do it, go for it. As for the next game, we should just come out on a weekend and just do it reverse draft/pick-up game style (no ringers of course) and just have a good time. I'm sure that the games after this last one will be a little closer in score, but just as fun. I was thinking that we could put this badboy on the Fouts' turf next time if the money-factor isn't too high. -

1) game was a blast. when are we gonna do this again? heck, itd be sweet to do this on saturdays until football season kicks in. 2) thanks to the folks to put this together and who came up with it. 3) thanks to those that came out and watched in the cold. those of us playing had the benefit of body heat, but they didnt. 4) the score is all sheepdip, we came out and played. next time we can shake up the draft a little bit, who knows? -

i had a blast, score or not. great part is, white kept playing until the clock ran out, and there are teams in the nfl and ncaa that can't say they do that. much props to 'em. bigger props to the folks who orchestrated this bad-boy of a game. MGQ, dolan, rick, stebo- thanks mucho for the shindig. my only complaint: nearly having big will take me out on that jerome bettis-style run of his. -
