  1. On the 8-bit: Lifeforce Bionic Commando Hogan's Alley On the 16-bit: too many to name...
  2. I want it over with no injuries too, I also want a W. While the win may not be as feasible as I want it to be, I don't think DD needs to hand UT a win. If he's gonna give them the win, he'd better break a few legs, bloody some noses and bruise some UT egos in the process. And heck, the more the better. Let the rest of the world know that if we lost to UT, we sure knocked them around.
  3. What kind of assinine statement is that? While he might be able to live with those kind of hours, his wife may not.
  4. It is washed up right now. Until the whole league steps up and starts winning consistently OOC, it will continue to be washed up. The answer is simple- but the process to bring forth that answer is not.
  5. Hummer Schmummer...the only good thing that company ever made often has a "ma deuce" mounted on the top, or these days, a minigun. For the record, the biggest game of the year is still the UT game. If not the UT game, then any of the other teams on the OOC schedule count just as well.
  6. Micro, there's another type that's supposed to have a low rate of exit penetration...softer material that lodges itself in the target and doesn't exit. It's not any of the JHP/JSP types, either. For home/personal defense, something like a USP/C, P99 or S&W99 would be fine in a .40SW caliber. You never know what someone is tripping on when they attack you, and I'd prefer not to trust my life to a 9mm cartridge.
  7. Well, that graduation rate of 5.7 years for a "4-year degree" is no surprise when you combine skyrocketing prices for tuition with expanded degree requirements and higher cost of living.
  8. It's not the biggest game- I think the biggest game of the year is against the current National Champs. As a matter of fact, that should be the mindset Dickey has as well. But it's one of the big grudge matches to date. Bigger grudge than that within the SBC and darn close to the UT grudge.
  9. Didn't basically everyone else (or at least, the non-snob schools) give us the thumbs up for that conference back then?
  10. Hmm...someone obviously didn't lock up before bed. I think she needs a "protected by (insert firearm manufacturer name here)" sticker in combination to her CHL.
  11. That would be quite the concept. I know that ULM (I think) played 2 QBs at a time, with both on the field on occasion. That was pretty scary since both were good at passing, but the one that could scramble meant our D had to keep an eye on him and the other ball-carriers on the field. I don't know if the coaches would try that out, but last year, we saw a lot more passing than we were used to. Whether or not that was by necessity or not, it was good. It would've been better if the schemes worked.
  12. 5lbs of marijuana? That's a little more than user-size portions there. That .40 round isn't gonna help his case, either.
  13. I'll say both are fast, but for some reason, I think Jackson's got the better overall skill.
  14. Fouts looks good. If you can't see the details.
  15. -edit- The city's gonna widen up the road to 3x3 over the course of 3 years. They're already supposed to be starting the surveying. Anyways, I like a lot of the establishments along Fry and I'd hate to see them be replaced by big business. I'm not saying I don't like big business, but the Starbucks and all that needs to stay near the mall. There's a certain feel on Fry Street, and I don't want to lose it. This may mean Fry Street remains a little trashy, but sometimes, trashy isn't a bad thing at all.
  16. Booger was a killer man up front, too bad everyone saw fit to stick 3 guys on him. Which in turn, left things wide open for the LBs and the rest of the DL.
  17. Killeen High School "Fighting Kangaroos" 2000. We were 5A that year, then bumped to 4A when the two new schools opened. Army JROTC Battalion Commander at full-bird Colonel, Color Guard XO, Varsity Drill Team 2nd Squad Leader. Then I graduated and became an art student. Go figure, huh?
  18. So far, we're not on it. ULL at FAU is...somehow.
  19. Ah, dear logo-gate. The whole PR end was ugly from the supposed summer student survey to the spring semester survey (that was probably ignored) to the grand-size marketing campaign I have yet to see in full swing. I can't say how much it bothers me to see a Midwestern State billboard on I35E when we should have at least 2 since we're so close, we're a bigger school, and the admin did blow big horns about their marketing campaign. I hope someone is pursuing a corporate sponsor or two for the new field.
  20. Read too much into that, did ya? Same basic concept- PC goes to the depth chart at #2-#4. Then, thanks to injury and work ethic, he gets to show that he's more than capable of handling the #1 spot. If I wanted to compare skill levels, I would have. Besides, I wanted to run the Brad Kassell parallel, but someone already beat me to it.
  21. Time to find a sponsor for the new field. Microsoft has a large team in Irving (but a MS stadium would probably crash daily), the GameStop company is located in Grapevine, and there are countless companies in DT Dallas to look at. "The Richards Group Stadium at North Texas"? "Tracy Locke Field"? Look at Miller, or Peterbilt...heck, GM has a plant in Arlington, don't they?
  22. Only if I can test drive it with the "AD Package".
  23. If he doesn't get drafted, look for Cobbs to be somewhere back in the depth chart, only to have a breakout game ala Evan Cardwell. I'm certain the Desperados have no regrets about signing "Revvin" Evan.
  24. For the 'Belt to be taken seriously, our teams have to really take it to the other conferences in all of the other sports, not just football. Since our conference doesn't have the size and prestige of the BigXII, we can't afford to only be successful in one sport.
  25. This is a hard one, especially at QB. I can't pick a specific QB, but whoever gets the role will be a big factor in the team's success. At RB, if Jamario were to go down, there are a number of guys that are chomping at the bit to get the ball, and I don't doubt their abilities. Deavin Cox, anyone?
