I remember using him and another speed CB as pass rushers from the dog-zone-blitz in last year's game. It worked pretty well, especially as the rest of the defense improved after year #1.

I got bills to pay- I won't take unpaid internships. Some people's parents can help them out with that, and that's fine (since they can take internships at places I'd love to work). That isn't the case with me. -O/T- I'm glad that this year's version isn't EA's left-behind child in it's football lineup. It looks like they actually put work into it.

It lets you know how tenuous the grasp on victory can be, for or against you. It would make you practice and play harder, I'd think.

I like Warren as the FS lock. Spring ball was months ago, and he doesn't seem like the kind of guy to slack during the offseason. I never did think of this before, but did he not do as well at QB?

CFN was wrong last year, they'll be wrong again (this time, in positive fashion) this year. The 'Belt got more competitive last year, tied with OL and QB issues and you have last season. But the truth is, many of the losses in the conference were by less than 10 points. A few more connected passes and a few more run stops and we would've had last season.

Three factors: 1. JT didn't run much last fall and had a few injuries to boot. 2. NT's OL wasn't as good as it has previously been. 3. Might be skewed based on voter's favorite schools and how many votes are from that school.

They'll get the fight song right when the music department sends them the music and lets them publish it. There's been discussion about this already.

Never doubt the walk-ons. We've had our share of walk-ons at this school, and some of them have been great players.

He looks like a good RB. If we can get him, let's try to get his blockers, too.

I think this season will be much different than last. That is, if the QB's connect with our WR corps. Effective passing brings the pressure off the run, and gives our RBs an opportunity to slash 'em up the middle. I also have this feeling that DD knows he's under a lot of pressure since he didn't get a ring last fall.

Even Scouts list him at 150. From what I read about him, he seems scary fast, smart, and darn tough. So yeah, he is like PC...just about 40lbs lighter.

He's listed at #24 with the top 25 Preseason RB's on CFN. Not bad for a guy that barely played last season, huh?

Buy. Phillips showed that he had good composure and the arm to get to the WRs last fall, but the OL had trouble keeping the pressure off long enough for Phillips' wait time before his passes.
