Has anyone ever heard it so quiet at Fouts?? I went down at halftime and the crowd sounded as if I was at church or a funeral. I have been going to games since the early 70's and have never seen a crowd so dejected. SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE AND FAST!!!!

Did anyone forward the article to Jackson and Ray. Maybe they will get a clue.

Johnny had surgery this morning. 2 screws in his 3rd metacarpus of his left hand. Currently in a cast so the hand can not be moved. He will play somehow against UT.

Someone else said it might be stealth recruiting? It is just the opposite. It is poor recruiting. You can tell that when the kid commits and you never see NT mentioned in the article as a school he was considering. If NT was hot on the recruiting trail you would at least see there name mentioned. Show me one early commit that said they chose a school and considered NT.

If baseball does not recruit the metroplex any better than DD and his bunch, it will be difficult to win. The talent is there.

Rick, how about the Texas kicker? He played at McKinney North. Great athlete. Kicked great the past two years with numerous touchbacks. I do not believe he signed anywhere. Heard he was walking on at OU? NT needs a kicker. Give me your thoughts.

Hampton shows up every year for the Don January and gets a couple of his peers to play as well and I know that they do not get paid for their appearance.

Coaches have applied from the PAC 10 and Big 10. Do not know who they are or if they come from decent programs.

Coach Jackson shot a 66 to win the local qualifier in Houston, TX for this years U.S. Open. He nows goes to Sectionals for his chance at the Open. Two good rounds and he is in.

Other colleges want all of our coaches except our OC.

The golf team has a new indoor hitting facility and putting green with video equipment. They are currently working on the putting green, old 18 green, holes #8 and #9 to make them playable. This will give them the opportunity to work on all facets of the game without having to travel. This will help with recruiting and should make them much more competitive. There is no excuse not to have a very competitive team with the high school talent around this area.

My point exactly. Maybe we should not be charging as much. Charge lower fees until either we get enough merchandise out there or our athletic programs get much better. This subject continues to give me tired head.

This goes to our marketing department. I bet they wanted to charge to much for our license.

It is hard to compete when two of your top five shoot snowman. They are not playing very well right now. It seems that they cannot get everyone playing good at the same time.
