Cell Phone Suggestions?
Bryan316 replied to Smitty's topic in The Eagles Nest (There Should be Pie For Everyone Forum)
This. -
This. I recently rediscovered that TacoComm here in Austin carries ESPNU in their digital tier (ch. 129). Here's hoping the KNTU internet stream syncs up fairly well.

Green Gang: "my Trip To Amazing Jakes"

Saw this at the Chuy's in Van Horn, TX (the John Madden one): -
A somewhat non-issue, especially since it happened back in January and he didn't hide it from those close/important to him. http://rangersblog.dallasnews.com/archives...n-photos-1.html http://insidecorner.dmagazine.com/2009/08/...hol-in-january/ Deadspin's original article: http://deadspin.com/5332801/the-devil-is-s...ne=true&s=x Deadspin's, well, spin on their attempt at sensationalism: http://deadspin.com/5333014/josh-hamilton-...ne=true&s=x

Any pics of the shirt design?

Instead of all these redesigns, how about we just go with a simple palette-swap of our current style:

Regarding the exposed endzone structure, where else are we going to hang the big light-up advertisements?

Palin Quits
Bryan316 replied to Buford_Julep's topic in The Eagles Nest (There Should be Pie For Everyone Forum)
More clicky fun (if you even had it to begin with): Three reasons Sarah Palin was, ya know, good and bad for women in politics, ya know. Textual analysis of Palin's out-the-door speech, and Diagramming Sarah Palin's sentences. She really shouldn't write her own stuff. The "needs a College Writing I brush-up" writing/grammar skills of some of our more "venerable" posters are better than what she scribbled on a few notecards on her way to the podium. -
Palin Quits

This thread needs more links: Palin will not run for re-election. Palin, ya know, "not wired to operate under the same old politics as usual." Rick Sanchez and his Jump to Conclusions Mat Pregnant again? Super-scandaltiemz? Nothing concrete yet, but all of this hurts/kills her already slim chances at being the GOP's pick for 2012, or even a senator for the state. -

I was rather shocked that it wasn't posted the minute it hit the intarwebz. I figured the Sarah Palin Fan Club from last election season would be in full force spinning her quitting her job in the middle of her term into something super-great for the GOP. -
F this S. My employer-provided Blackberry isn't even used for work, much less personal use. I probably average zero calls a month, both incoming and outgoing. And after forwarding calls and putting my work email on my iPhone, it pretty much stays in a drawer at the office so it can access the server. F that if they want to tax me a percentage on a phone I don't even want. I hope they take that "alternative approach" and let me show that I already have a personal phone and don't deserve to get taxed on something my employer gave me that they claim I use for purposes that I really don't.

Ncaa 2010: Team Builder North Texas *done*
Bryan316 replied to Got5onIt's topic in Mean Green Football
Actually, it's "Nothern Texas." They can't even correctly spell the incorrect word. -
How can you forget Oregon and their half a dozen garish helmets per season? Hawaii also had a silver and a black version in a recent season, might still do.

Gm Sells Hummer To.........
Bryan316 replied to keith's topic in The Eagles Nest (There Should be Pie For Everyone Forum)
If any car company should be owned by the US Government, it should be Hummer. AM General produced HMMWVs for the military years before GM threw a stack of money at them and made civvie toy versions, and the US military has to be their main source of income. -

You shouldn't be. They pretty much explain everything during the film. The only thing you may want to do is read the Memory Alpha article on the TNG episode "Unification" and its second part. It'll explain some questions you may have. I've been hyped about this movie for almost 3 years, and I've survived the 5-month move from December. I've spammed my friends and coworkers with trailers and film clips and hype. And last Thursday I wasn't disappointed in the least. Abrams, Orci, and Kurtzman did it right. The casting, the visuals, the story, all top shelf. True, there wasn't the exploration of something new in the galaxy, but this film was more about internal exploration and building intrinsic relationships that an origin story needs. In my mind, it's just ahead of Batman Begins and Casino Royale, mostly because of my many years of geek Trek love. I traded my 7pm ticket for the 7:30 DTS showing at the Tinseltown by me, and I'll head down to the Bullock's IMAX early next week to enjoy it again (and again). And for the diehard purists that can't handle reboots, the "Prime" universe still exists; it's just "over there" for the time being. Opening Weekend Final Numbers
