I would currently advise not to make orders from meangreengear.com, at the moment they do not enforce SSL when submitting your personal information. In short, your cc#/street address/whatever is being sent un-encrypted across the internet.

Any faculty/staff out there who have made purchases through this website? I noticed there's a link for faculty staff, but it requires entering a code. How does one obtain this code if they work for the university? Meangreengear.com customer support is taking forever to respond to me, sigh. edit: Does anyone know how much of a discount faculty/staff gets? Also, how much of a discount do MGC members receive? I don't care if the new stadium has less than 40,000...as long as there is room to expand. I just care about not having that track in between the stands and the field. It's ridiculous that the first 5 rows on both sides of fouts are empty because there is no los. Anyway, I did hear today while at work that UNT will begin building a 60 million dollar building in the next few years, I assume that refers to our stadium. How much can 60 million buy these days?

Interesting..I didn't realize students would be tailgating in the grass on that rec field? If the tailgating is truly that crowded I will be surprised. By the way, what is the yellow lot? Is it all handicap or something?

So the only GA tailgating area is that small orange lot? That stinks. I don't really understand how parking Friday night would work...won't they tow your car the next morning to make room for tailgating? Or am I supposed to sleep in my car?

Eh..not sure if that's worth the $500 for a recent grad like myself. It's a shame they can't sell beer to the rest of us.

Where can I find out more about the Ben E. Keith deck? I've always heard about it, but I don't know the details other than you have to be part of the Mean Green Club. What kind of drinks do they offer? Are they cheap?

Tickets are no longer available on that website, I checked earlier. I was able to take the commute from Denton to Southlake during lunch and bought 4 tickets before they closed at noon. I think after day they're $15 at SMU stadium.

Is there a chance this game might sell out? I plan on going to the game with at least 3 others and I've yet to get tickets.
