  1. I'd agree that height is overrated for a singular player, but if both guys in your backcourt are under 6" then I'd say you're at quite a disadvantage. Is this supposed to be a major signing? I'm all for bringing in experienced JUCO guys but shouldn't we be focusing on height??
  2. We beat Oklahoma St. Oklahoma St. beat Kansas. Kansas wins the National Championship........ Ergo, North Texas owns a NCAA championship caliber season. I think we should hang a banner in the Super Pit with this calculation next year.
  3. Who pitched in the 9th? Was it Everyday Eddie?
  4. Yea, really.....it's like Vito's not even paying attention to what our previous womens 2nd tier sport coaches are up to these days. What does this guy do with his time?
  5. I don't love it, but I'd take a 2008 version of that design over the name of our school spelled out on each side. Thats always seemed like such a give up......
  6. I guess I just use more of my brain power than most. I have to power to make her change direction through deep focus, boredom, and the refresh button.
  7. It turns out that I'm right, left, right, and left brained. I didn't realize, until I took this test, that that was something that changed upon randomly clicking the refresh button.
  8. I haven't seen Cam do much in the receiving attack, but he does seem to be more adept at picking up a rusher in the backfield than MM. As much heat as was on the QB's on an every down basis in the scrimmage, Cam put a couple of really nice blocks on rushers. On one of the possessions when he was running with the first team he put a hell of a block on Nwigwe (I didn't have a # roster but I'm pretty sure Toby was ruining 1st string inside LB) as Vizza was trying to turn the corner.
  9. Yea... I see what you're saying. I sometimes use the terms scat and 3rd down back interchangeably, even though they really aren't.
  10. I thought I recognized him. He's still pretty intimidating. I'd imagine he still uses the claw on a pretty regular basis.
  11. I don't suppose he was wearing a trench coat was he?
  12. This was the first practice/scrimmage I've attended since the opening day of spring ball. I came away from that one impressed with Cam, and he stole the show again. I've been on his bandwagon since the day he arrived, but I think this might just be the year that he explodes. With the turmoil that might be our o-line, at-least early in the year, I think Cam needs to be the primary back with Mosley coming in as the scat back change-up. It just seems like Cam's better suited at shedding tacklers and picking up defenders in the backfield, which is going to be a premium attribute until that line gets settled. He really flashed the jets on that first TD run.
  13. Well now they won't even let you swing a club on it unless you're attending a session of golf class or a member of either of the teams... thats my gripe. We come from different situations. I guess it says something about my home course, when I was just excited about an eighteen hole format! As bad as you say that course was, it was a treat for me whenever I got to play there as a kid. If you really thought it was that terrible, I'd suggest you take a 30min drive to either the Bridgeport or Decatur Municipal Golf Courses. I think you'd get a real kick out of playing either of those two, especially Decatur.
  14. Well la de da.... Try growing up playing on the public courses of Wise County. Maybe you just never appreciated it for what it was. At least that coarse had elevation changes, and you could tell at least some thought was put into hole layout.
  15. Once Fouts is leveled to the ground, the land surrounding that beautiful building can be brought up to par.
  16. I hope they level the thing. Maybe if there's no staff hanging around the Hotel there won't be anyone around to tell me that as a student I'm not allowed to hit balls on the pathetic remains of what was once a pretty decent golf course. Recently they've put some work into getting like 4 of the greens over there in respectable shape, but they only allow like 40 people to be on them, 40 being roughly the # of students taking golf as a course. The freaking golf team avoids that place like the plague. I took the same advanced golf class every semester my first 3 years of school just for the fun of it, but at the time the course had been ignored for about 6 years. Now that a couple holes are playable, I'm no longer allowed to step foot on it...... There's my Radisson Golf Course rant for the month, although with all this new information coming forward on the subject I may have another....
  17. Me too, geez....... Oh wait....... Damn.
  18. UNT FOOTBALL 2008: Lets Force Some Punts!!!!
  19. UNT FOOTBALL 2008: What color primer will we spray on Fouts next??????
  20. Go Green!!!!(But not in that left-wing, sissy, environmentalist way.)
  21. Did he shoot him in the back?? If thats the case then I cannot support such a man.
  22. I wonder what woulda happened if we had drawn a #2 seed without size like Duke this year in the first round. I think Memphis was the worst possible match up for us last year.
  23. Non-Members can't see this board (Non-UNT Sports). The VIP board is for super top secret, highly classified, confidential posts.
  24. Holy S.... I don't know how it happened but I've come down with Hilltopper Fever. Would have been nice if we could have drawn a Drakish opponent last year. I think Q and Wooden would have dominated that little squad. Oh well.
