You must have never met the little guy. Taken right outside my Ramsgate apartment summer 05. That little guy used to really cover some ground, its a good mile between the Union and The Ramsgate.

I didn't realize that randomly voting in this poll, but not posting, last night would bring it to page 1..... Have to say that I'm kinda glad it did though, lord knows how I abhor the angry philosophical debates that all to often rage in internet forums. Don't get me wrong, I'll argue in person until I'm blue in the face, but with all the google & cut/paste experts weighing in on every topic I just get tired head. If you ever get really bored at work it's quite fun to copy/paste random posts into google and find out just where people are actually getting "their" opinions...... Btw, I'm strangely disappointed that I've cast the only vote for Albino squirrel white.

Gotta love Texas. A couple of weeks ago I tagged along with my dad to the Ft. Worth Gun Show. My dad's a trapshooter on Texas' national champion team and was looking to find a trader for one of his shotguns. I went basically as a favor, so my dad wouldn't have to go alone, and ended up buying a little Walther PPK (James Bond's gun.) Pops and I are going to get our CCL's in July. I really have no desire to carry a handgun, but I like the idea of knowing I could.

Or we could just announce it ourselves. Everyone on here could tell one different person every day the true origin of the "Mean Green." I think after 2 days we'd have reached more individuals than Mr. Galloway.

I think that if Lefty and a couple other top ten guys can turn it up a notch ratings wont be hurt that much. You'll probably see John Daily playing on quite a few more sponsors exemptions as well.

6 out of 4 is still pretty spectacular, espicially when you consider the 2 he didn't win were top ten finishes with a 2nd at The Masters. While I'm not a Tiger fan, for the last ten years I've viewed rooting for Tiger like pulling for the Sox/Yankees, it's impossible not to acknowledge his greatness. I'll be interested to see if Lefty can take advantage of Tiger's absence and at least challenge for the #1 spot while he's gone.

Tiger played in the Masters, w/o winning it. He's played in 6 and won 4.

Poor Rocco. I wish he could have put his name on that trophy. A forty-five year old (would have been the oldest Open champion) that hasn't had a win in 7 years. For him to have the guts to go one on one with Tiger for eighteen holes and still come away even..... on that course..... to me thats deserves some kind of recognition. The guy actually had to win a playoff just to qualify to play in the Open. I hope he hangs around and cashes in on this momentum for a bit. My hat goes off to Rocco.

Is our current list of prospects on the 12th of June not dwindling? It's not just this edition of the blog I'm talking about. When, if ever, was the last time anyone had a word of praise for the guy?

I'm not here to toot Brett's horn, but what the hell is everyone's problem with the guy? It seems like the guy can do no right in the eyes of this board. Why not cut the guy a little slack every once in a while. He's a beat reporter for UNT athletics for god's sake. Everyone says they don't want him to be a cheerleader, but thats exactly what he gets ragged on for not being. The problem is, Brett's the only guy that really covers Mean Green athletics. We've got one freaking guy. Run Brett's "Negative" ass outta here and what do you have? I guess he could have blogged about how we didn't want that guy anyways, or F him for going elsewhere.....

I would like to officially announce that I will also be listening if Notre Dame comes calling.
