  1. If only we had already beaten Tennessee in dramatic fashion on national television...... I'd be happy.
  2. I read the comics everyday as a kid and somehow never noticed how tormented of an individual he really is. Garfield minus Garfield
  3. Thats what I keep asking...... don't expect a response to your question.
  4. Really classy throwing a dead student athlete's stats out there for shock value. Being a leader on a mediocre collegiate team and being one on a NFL team is exactly the same right? I don't know your story as it relates to how you've delvolped such an affection for VY and his game, but it has clouded your judgment of him. I'm not commenting on the off the field rumors, but his play on the field has been atrocious. He's the most inaccurate passer in the NFL, and as I predicted(given I predict failure for all UT athletes) his running has not translated to the NFL level either. Being the QB of a team that makes the playoffs does not in fact make you the leader of that team. I suppose you would argue that Q-Cat was the fearless leader of the Cowboys in 03.
  5. Exactly!! Thats why its so confusing to see the AD keep trotting out the F&S plans. I don't see HKS wanting to add anything that simple to their portfolio.
  6. I'm not trying to be negative, and you seem to have RV's ear, but are we still involved with HKS in any way at all? I've got no problem with the F&S stadium they keep showing us pictures/videos/models of, in fact I'd be thrilled if they built it, but if they've contracted HKS to draw up plans for the stadium why keep re-unveiling this concept?
  7. I would assume some professors took the advise of some on this boards and "Fixed the problem."
  8. This is really starting to burn my grits.
  9. I've got my fingers crossed, but I'm not going to believe it until I hear Belicheat say it. If Shady Brady is really out maybe Bledsoe deserves a call.
  10. Might be Dave Knobler, but I have not been able to find a picture to verify it. Its sad that this guy was the best they could muster, you could have gotten the same performance out of a drunken student pulled from the parking lot. Watching that buffoon interact with a buzzed Dr. B may have been the highlight of the evening for me.
  11. Anyone think Les Miles is the kind of guy that would hang a 100 on somebody?
  12. I'm not choosing a side in this argument, but I still don't think Vizza has shown anything more than toughness/moxy(of which he has a boat load) in his days as a college quarterback.
  13. I like your style.
  14. It was a short-sighted panic move and his excuse was possibly the most discouraging thing I've ever heard during the Dodge era.
  15. Dr. B???????

  17. I don't give a damn what they say or do on PonyFans.com. I didn't go to school at SMU and I don't spend my time lurking on their site.
  18. That was the excuse.
  19. Dodge said on the post game interview that Riley had to play because we are depleted at WR. Guess they better get busy recruiting more WRs and quit focusing so much attention everywhere else.
  20. Dr. B was interviewed at halftime. She was wearing an over 21 Miller Lite bracelet and seemed kinda buzzed.
  21. Good to hear from SouthBend! SNR has never recovered.
  22. The title of "America's Team" is not self-proclaimed. It was coined by NFL flims in the late 70's. Fans of the 31 other teams in the league often throw out that same proclamation, but there is no denying that the Cowboys are tbe most watched/discussed/all around popular team in the NFL. Just check merchandise sales or TV ratings. You're right that many Cowboys fans are pompous know-it-alls but when you consider the sheer number of them out there thats just bound to happen.
  23. Look up downfall of the Cowboys. It's the best of the bunch by a mile.
  24. The first widely popular one was about the Cowboys loss to the Giants. Since then it's been used by fans of every sports team after any random win/loss/shocking event.
