Senior night is probably going to be the only game I get to see in person this season. Since Danny's the only guy on the team I know, I'd be thrilled if he got the start. Do I it will happen? Not a chance in hell. He's more than deserving, but the last thing Dodge wants at this point is to see Danny's accuracy make things happen down field. In a perfect world Danny and and the forgotten man Matt would both play in this game, but like I said earlier....... no chance in hell.

I'm thinking of a George Strait song....... how did it go?

I own both a T-shirt and bumper sticker featuring that flag. I've gone through 4 cars since beginning college in 2002 and each has had the Battle Flag on the back glass.

I understand people's gripe about the lack of pure sports only sports talk, but I don't understand how anyone can stand ESPN radio. Every single show on that station sticks to the formula of forced arguments and loud talking. It never fails that one person or the other will take a ridiculous stance only for the means of arguing with their co-host. If its a one man show then the host takes a ridiculous stance in order to argue with the callers/listeners. It drives me freaking nuts. All the loud talking arguments and forced emotion are just too much for me to take. The only show I've ever enjoyed on ESPN radio was the Big Show with Coop and Newey. Didn't really care for Newey, but Coop is greatness.

I defy you to find this kind of hard-hitting, all encompassing, football coverage anywhere else on the radio dial. Cowboys Round Table Thats one star studded Cowboys discussion.

Dr. Lowe was probably the best professor I ever encountered in the History department at UNT. I took four or five of his Civil War based classes and truly enjoyed each one of them. He told quite a few stories from his Soccer coach days, most centering around the fun they had while working with little or no funding on roadtrips. We actually got him to come out and give advice to our intramural/club soccer team quite a bit. He's written and co-authored a couple books which are pretty damn good if any of you out there are history buffs.
