I agree.....He came into summer conditioning in June of 2010 only 17 years old and from a small school...I think he just needs a little more time and then will be really solid.

I see this as a good thing for the O Line....We all know that the line was not very deep and a few injuries or poor performance by some of the starters could spell doom for us....For a freshman we did not expect to see action step forward in August to impress our experienced coaches enough to be named a starter means that our depth just improved by one.

Don't let the debate derail you from working on a North Texas idea. Rarely does an idea meet with total agreement with the masses. The most vibrant and enthusiastic voice in years of Mean Green Football thinks enough of the "WHY NOT NORTH TEXAS!" phrase to use it publicly. Whose opinion do you value more....Coach Mac or Silver Eagle and others in this thread?

Should the punctuation at the end be a question mark or an exclamation mark?.... I say "WHY NOT NORTH TEXAS!" should end in an exclamation mark as we are trying to make a statement rather than ask a question.

Chris Bynes will be our breakout receiver. I was very impressed with his skills at the August 2010 scrimmages. It was too bad his season ended in the third game.

I try to get it every time I fly if it is available on that particular plane. I have probably used it on five or six flights and my experience has been good. Not sure if there is more than one service available but the one that American Airlines uses is Gogo Inflight Internet. They have a 24 hour pass and a monthly pass. I have found it to be the same speed as using the internet at other times on my 3G IPhone. On my last flight I used my wife's IPad and the video I watched seemed normal. I suggest you set up an account with that service before your flight and have your log in / password handy when you are allowed to turn on your electronic devices so that you are not wasting time trying to get set up.

I think we will see a very good Offensive Lineman over the next four years in Mason Y'Barbo....He is a tough guy and a real BULLDOG! Probably the only reason he is here and not at a BCS school is his height of 6'2". Good to see he gained 24 lbs from last year's roster weight and is up to 312.

Will there be a Mean Green March before each game by the players and if so what is the route? Will the Green Brigade Band be sitting directly behind the opposition's bench?

What a great night for the Mean Green fans! The stadium is just a fantastic place and so impressive to walk around. Here is some of what I noticed.... -Pretty good hot dogs....That might be a sign that the food in the stadium will be much improved! -The leg room for the Club Level seats for people with long legs is so much better than Fouts Field. -How cold the air conditioning felt in the Club Lounge. -How much of a cool breeze I felt sitting in the shade in the stands when you consider it was 100 degrees at the time. -The Houston and Indiana players are really going to feel the hot Texas September sun bearing down on them on the sidelines for most of the first half! -I believe I have now heard Coach Mac talk about 10 times and every time he gets me fired up for the Mean Green.....Just think how much he will fire up the team during pregame, halftime and timeout talks. I can't wait to hear Public Address Announcer Tim Crouch at about 5:50 PM on September 10 yell out as the team comes out on the field, "Heeeeeeeeeeeeeere Come The Mean Green!!!!! WHY NOT NORTH TEXAS!

It is interesting to see us ranked higher than 10 of our 12 2011 opponents.
