I disagree. You can wait until next Saturday to fire him. However, if we wake up next Sunday and he hasn’t been fired, then he’s ours for another year. Because everything you said about being too late is 100% true if you apply it to bowl games. You absolutely can not wait until after a bowl game to fire a coach.

Does it have to be made? No. Are many of the good HC candidates gone by then if you wait? Most assuredly. I think the only way SL gets let go after a bowl game is if Wren has his replacement already lined up. -
I doubted Seth could beat WK too and you saw how that turned out. 😂 i agree that we just need to win. But I would not be surprised one bit if Seth finds a way to lose and still backs into the conference championship game.

Please correct me if I’m wrong, but now that todays games have been played, I think this is the picture… Win against Rice and we’re in the champ game. Lose to Rice AND FAU beats WKU and we’re still in. Just win baby!

Nope. Aune has been the same in all his time here as a starter. I don’t believe a few more garbage time reps from a few years ago makes a difference in his performance today.

The athletic department can celebrate all the consecutive CUSA wins they want to. But we are 0-2 vs AAC teams this year. And I don’t want to go back in time counting how many consecutive losses we have against them. But I’m sure it’s quite a few.
