Maybe he's out shopping around jobs so he has a bargaining chip for his contract here? Just throwing it out there...

Plus, who wants to follow the guy the stadium is named after? Those are big shoes to fill. Let someone else take it first if that's where you want to be. Worse case scenario: Seth leaves and makes a lot more money. If this happens, I'm happy for him. I'm also grateful for what he's done here. He's turned a 1-11 program around that I'm sure few people wanted control of and turned it into a winning program that's gone to 3 straight bowl games and competed for a conference championship last year. Not to mention turned this into a program that very easily could have (dare I say "should have"?) been undefeated this year with those big leads we had in each of the lost games. He's proven that this region can be recruited from for a competitive G5 program. What up and coming assistant wouldn't want a shot at taking over this program? I'm sure there are a few. But there can't be many, can there?

Travel for the players. Let those young men see and experience more of the world. It's not about us, the alumni fans. It's about the coaches and players putting in all the hard work that got them this far. If they want to travel, let them travel. If they want to stay close, let them stay close. Although, I would like to show the world that we can sell out (or come close) a bowl game in Frisco while SMU fell short by 6k.

Someday he'll get a HC job, and then he'll give SL a run for his money in the toughest coaches poll. https://twitter.com/CoachEkelerUNC/status/624728000718864386

Were the Independence and Frisco Bowls on the list of games we could preselect and buy tickets for? I can't remember... but they're on there now.

Perhaps. But the NFL was pretty damn good to Jimmy Johnson. How 'bout dem Cowboys! And you just never know until you try to make that jump.

His follow up UNT videos have been posted. Here's some links: -
Definitely a lost opportunity. But most of us didn’t think we even had a shot at being ranked this year until after we started 4-0.

I just tried streaming the audio from the internet. Audio was 8 seconds behind my video stream. You might try that and have better luck than me. -

He’s got 37 yards on the game. He’s got the record now. Congrats young man! Way to go! -
And Mason may never have to honor the tradition for another QB. He’s going to hold these records for a long time.

I don't think people care what name is on the bowl. If they need to attract viewers, turning them all into a playoff for the G5 may be what it takes. I don't think I'd care about the teams playing, but I'd probably watch a playoff.
-
Maybe they turn them into a giant playoff system with 16 or 32 teams?

Any good UNT stuff there? They usually have a section of college gear. -
That's the political answer. Page 1 of the Coaching 101 handbook.

Do we have Liquid Gold in the QB Talent Pipeline?

If the O line remains as weak as it is, then I’d favor speed. So Mean Green Bean could be the man. -
Great! Next is the orange lot and then the stadium.

I look forward to claiming my throne soon.

I'm going on the record. First ever Apogee sell out. It's gonna happen.

You're both wrong. We're 8-2-1 in those 1967 pants. 😆

Exactly this. My group is planning a double tailgate. Going to get there early to set up the tent, TV, grill and games. And put it all away for the game, only to bring it all back out after the game and watch some more football and grill dinner while waiting for the parking lot to empty out.
