I absolutely LOVED watching Ek on the sidelines. His passion and enthusiasm for the game and his players was nothing short of infectious. HOWEVER, I think there’s a reason he’s coaching Special Teams now instead of defenses and it’s probably not very good. 🤷♂️

People would say the same thing they said when we hired him: Too soon. That being said, if SL were to leave us, I'd be interested in bringing in GH as a new HC. 😂

I thought for sure the hammer would drop on Reffett first. I didn't expect this for Reeder since it was only his first year and he was a late season hire. But I like the aggressiveness and that it seems like they aren't playing around.

Mizzou just let go of their head coach. They didn’t wait for a signing class. Why should we wait for a signing class to let go of a DC? Let him go, bring in someone new, and let the new guy solidify the recruits ASAP.

The first of several. It’s only the beginning. Early signing day is December 19th. So we should know the majority of decommits in the next week or two. I know there’s another signing day in February, but most of these kids like to sign ASAP.

2 deals each for $6. That’s nice to honor Mason. However, I’d rather honor him with 6 wins so he could go to another bowl game. But that won’t happen because our defense doesn’t play until the 2nd quarter or later.

They do an invocation at TCU games too (my wife is alumnus, so don’t hate). I’d expect it at private christian based schools like TCU and SMU. Not sure why La Tech is doing it too.

Since UTEP has only scored more points against Houston Baptist this year, I have a very real question. If Reffett stays for next year, does Texas A&M hang 100 on us? I really hope he’s not here next year, but he hasn’t been fired yet so I’m starting to lose hope.
