  1. Surely this program should be able to find someone bigger than 5-10. He's not that elusive for someone that small.
  2. I saw my first TVCC (formerly HCJC) football game in 40 years about 1 month ago against Blinn. Guyton had a pretty good game. Was hoping 6-6, 360 OT Jovan Pruitt would sign with the Mean Green but ended up signing with Tarleton St. I guess grades may have been an issue. Was also a 4* out of Bishop Dunne. Maybe Guyton can talk his high school QB into coming here since he will be back on the bench in 2017.
  3. Ragtag bunch? What a disgusting post. There always has to be some scandal when it involves schools south of downtown Dallas.
  4. Both parents are coaches. They seem to go where the jobs are. (Just like any other family in America) Nothing cheap about a State Championship at DeSoto; where they have been a game away from the title game for 3 or 4 years. That Kyler Murray transfer into Allen High didn't help their chances. Never heard a DeSoto fan ever complain. Of course none of the Denton schools have ever benefitted from a key transfer.

  6. I think Woolridge will be a better point than Reese. In fact, I have been disappointed this year with Reese's game. Deckie has just been flat out horrible this year. I think there are 2 more scholarships after Wainright. Definitely can use some shooting.
  7. Zach is really coming on. Was MVP last week in Cedar Hill's tournament. Had a good game against DeSoto last night. I saw an earlier line where he had 12 points. Don't think that was accurate. I had him with about 17 points, 15 rebounds and about 7-8 blocks. (Didn't play the 2nd quarter after picking up 2 fouls in the first) Surely will move up in the rankings from 91 (in one poll and 66 in another) to at least 30th in the state. Looking like a much better pick up for the Green. Not a star but should add more depth at C/F
  8. http://www.maxpreps.com/news/zXUMkodeekm9Wu2LtDZ6Ow/top-20-high-schools-that-produce-the-most-current-college-football-talent.htm Clearly Cedar Hill & DeSoto from North Texas. Allen, only because they have 3 times the students as CH & DeSoto. Surprising is Coppell. Others around the state: Tyler John Tyler, Manvel, Cibolo Steele, LaMarque, W. Orange Stark, Houston Washington & Madison.

  10. If you are referring to Kuehne, he was under duress all night long. Threw a critical pick, lost a fumble, intentional grounding etc. Seems to have a nice frame to add weight. Maybe a good prospect in 3 years.
  11. Was at this game supporting my great nephew.
  12. He's a scoring guard looking to create his own shot. There was no quarterback in the game last night. Woolridge is much better getting others involved, better ball handling and better decision making. Reese is obviously better than Brown but is also a combo guard.
  13. I think Ryan Woolridge will make a huge difference at point guard; as the team's best quarterback/facilitator. This team will struggle without the ball in a point guard's hands. Allante Houston, at 6-7, is clearly the 3rd best option. It's really scary anytime I see the ball in Ja Michael Brown's or Greg White-Pittman's hand. This team will be much better with Frazier & Woolridge.
  14. I don't expect the beat writer to waive Pom poms for our teams or coaches but it is tiring to constantantly read about the failures of this coach. Let's just see how things pan out. I'm looking forward to much more competitive games from the men and women.
  15. Committed to Texas-Rio Grande Valley

  17. I thought the attendance was pretty good. Brice looks so much better and should be a major contributor this year. Allante Holson seems much improved. Ryan Woolridge will be a crowd favorite. Derail Green will be a solid addition. Keith Frazier is showing so much more maturity and leadership. This conference race should be fun; where 1 game could separate the 3rd place team and 10th. If there was a legit backup to Brice at center, I really think this team could have a very good season. They can beat anyone at home.
  18. A stretch is someone who can step outside (or hang out there) and consistently make the outside shot (Dirk). Mitchell could run the floor, dunk, rebound and block shots. Was not consistent outside.
  19. TCU offer last week http://nebraska.247sports.com/Bolt/Huskers-ahead-for-another-Dallas-lineman--48195271
  20. Brown was a reserve combo guard. Woolridge is a pass first pure pg that I would play ahead of Brown. All these guys will get pt
  21. He is (Ryan Woolridge). Reese is a senior. I think Woolridge backs Reese up this year. This kid looks more like a point than a 2 (actually a combo). Either Woolridge or this kid looks like the starter at point in 2017/18 at this point. http://www.hudl.com/video/3/3626117/5721b9104df6124b70fced1c http://www.hudl.com/video/3/3626117/5721b910bd746d007c502626 http://www.hudl.com/video/3/3626117/5721b9104df6124b70fcecdc
  22. Looks like Reese's replacement at point guard (or back up to Woolridge) if he makes it to campus http://www.latimes.com/tn-blr-sp-0222-players-20140220-story.html
