  1. There were so many poor decisions/mistakes during those last few seconds. Obviously, by Ruben & Buggs. Down by 1, why would Scott pull up, with about 7 seconds remaining, for a contested shot from the top of the key? (he was fouled though) If he'd continued to the bucket there would have been a better chance of being fouled that the refs had to call. Continuing to the bucket would have also pulled Buggs' man away for a kick out open shot from the corner. Oh well, St Johns' decisions were just as bad. Liked the effort but unfortunately, we don't have a go to guy in the clutch.
  2. Hope we can hang on to 6-5 WR commit Baron Tipton of Coppell. Kid is having a monster year and surely attracting major interest from others. I think he helps this team from day 1.
  3. HS recruiting has to improve
  4. This has become a constant beat down. Wish we could stop posting offers and commitments on here.
  5. Handful of games Mason Fine - 2018 (Apogee) W Woody Wilson - 2014 (Fouts) W Josh Greer/Andrew McNulty - 2006 (Fouts) W Ken Washington - 7-6 loss 1974 @ Texas Stadium
  6. Last signee from Kilgore JC. Somewhat of a project but shows potential
  7. Plays for Dallas Kimball. Extremely articulate kid with a near perfect GPA. Size maybe an issue but has a great motor.

  10. Bulldoze that wing and we can welcome ESPN as is.
  11. Last 2 games against inferior schools (Dallas Adamson & Dallas Spruce), Kerry had a 75 yard pick 6 (Adamson) and a 77 yard pick 6 against Spruce. Their overall secondary got off to a shaky start of the season but is improving.
  12. What’s crazy to me is that Prosper ain’t winning anything anytime soon. The best football is in SW Dallas County. Duncanville, DeSoto and SOC, with declining enrollments, all won state titles last year. (SOC was a repeat) There’s a good chance that Duncanville and possibly DeSoto repeat this year. I can understand if Aledo put a $90mm vote in front of its citizens with 11 State Championships; and counting. I don’t live in Prosper but you’d have to show me more than projected growth; to justify a stadium of this amount.
  13. Don’t we need half the class to be portal transfers? I keep reading that schools will rarely recruit high school kids in the age of the portal.
  14. I fail to understand what that has to do with this topic; other than more Deion hate
  15. Coach O was Deion's right hand man while on his staff at Prime Prep Academy. Love seeing folks enjoy what they are doing and enjoying life.
  16. Are they redshirting Keith Smith? I think he could provide more pressure than what I saw Saturday
  17. These overall Benford comparisons continue to be a pathetic excuse for an overall pathetic football lprogram. We continue to lose good players to the transfer portal only to flip them for non D1 players. Doesn’t help that a good old boy network is involved in some of these hiring decisions. Let Tony Benford enjoy his life; 5+ years since he left. He certainly didn’t hire himself. While other coaches are flipping their rosters overnight to improve the product, we keep bitching about Tony Benford. For the past 5-10 years we rave annually about the quality of the football recruits/classes (All based on a flawed star system) Just because they may pick up another P5 or G5 offer doesn’t mean they can play.
  18. Article also mentioned Chris McDermott as a UNT target. If so, he would be a major AAC caliber talent. Very impressive State Championship tournament last year; where his Houston Washington team fell short to Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy in 4A.
  19. Former NT RB and father of former DL Bryce English passed on yesterday. Courtesy of former NT QB, Joe Stevenson https://www.ntdaily.com/fathers-cancer-diagnosis-brings-defensive-tackle-english-back-to-texas/
  20. I’m ok with this signing; considering he is still developing. Looks to have 3 years of eligibility and has already developed physically since high school/Prep. Very athletic with skills. Great potential without the pressure to produce immediately. Ahead of Morgan off the bench. Legit 6-8 We obviously had a number of kids to tell us no. Appears to be a good low risk high reward pickup. His best basketball is clearly ahead of him.
  21. Looks like another year of poor quarterbacking. It always end up as musical chairs throughout a season when there wasn't a clear cut #1 so deep in the summer.
  22. Am I the only person that thinks green lettering on orange brick looks awful? Also, the font size of “University of North Texas” was/is too small.
  23. FYI, Chrisdon has a rising 2 sport 2025 nephew at Red Oak by the name of Kamauryn. Father is Ronnie Morgan Jr. https://www.texasfootball.com/article/2023/01/24/get-to-know-elite-2025-red-oak-de-kamauryn-morgan?ref=article_preview_img
