I like the walkway too. All those people and their kids, that walk around during the game won't get in my way. The walkway didn't keep me from getting some great seats at the new stadium. I'm sure there are still some good seats available, even with the walkway there.

Good find. I think it is smart for the athletic department to target the Gainsville area. It has a sizable population with many UNT grads, and we are the closest FBS program around. That's not too far of a Saturday drive for a good afternoon of fun. We need to challenge SMU and TCU for fans in Dallas and Fort Worth, but I hope they target the Decatur area too. Building fan bases in Gainsville and Decatur could create a significant increase in attendance. In those communities, there are no other local sports institutions to challenge us for fan loyalty. Many of their high school graduates will attend UNT. We should be the local college football team they support.

I wonder if either will join Rollins at UNT.

Great news! We are glad to have you. North Texas has been a great program for developing Running Backs over the last decade. Cobb, Thomas, and now Dunbar are all North Texas Legends. Go Mean Green!

I don't think ULM has said anything about dropping down into the Southland. Planning a future version of the Sun Belt without them seems wrong. Expanding the conference and further splitting the revenue without a guaranteed increase in payouts to each member sounds like a bad idea. I'd prefer to build with what we have. The Sun Belt has been a gateway conference for too long. If we were to expand, I think we should stick with the current conference policy of only considering FBS programs. The WAC is losing ground right now, I don't think the Sun Belt should join them.

You make a strong argument, and I think you are right, this class is going to be special.

These guys are dirt bags. There is a place for protest in our country. A Special Olympics ceremony is not it.

I was hoping Feldt transferring in from Arkansas would influence a few quality prospects to commit after attending the camp over the weekend. It's not too late..., and there are more camps to come. We could still land some guys in the near future.

North Texas and the Sun Belt have no need for either program. Let them stay in the FCS.

This might get moved but I think it is UNT football related. The story states that the WAC still doesn't have enough FBS programs to move Texas State and UTSA up. Is it possible they don't become FBS programs? My link

I remember RV saying the new stadium would feature a store dedicated to North Texas gear. Has anyone heard anymore about it? Will it be open by the first game?

The trailer looks great! I hope they make another for next season and it has the new stadium, and uniforms. It is time for me to upgrade. I've been playing the PS2 for too long now. Should I go with the PS3 or the X Box 360?

On paper I think this kid looks good. His ability to rebound and 3+ assists per game impress me the most. I also hope we are able to pick up a monster big man with the last ship. I like basketball, but after the way last season ended, and with the talent coming in, I'm really looking forward to next season. If Dodge were still here, and we were not opening our new football stadium, I'd be ready to start playing now.

With the addition of the new parking lot next to the athletic dorm parking lot, there will be double the spaces available for tailgating. I've been to the site and honestly, I think there will be more then enough spots against the green belt for anyone who wants one. I'm fine with RV's plan. I think he has a better understanding of how it will work then we do right now. If it is a problem, then we could always revisit this topic next offseason.

I like it. The white facemask looks good. I'd like it more if it had the SOW on the sides. Two questions. When and where will it start airing? And, Is it the first in a series? They didn't show much of the stadium. I have to believe another commercial, featuring the completed stadium will follow.

I'm not a tree hugger, and personally I don't care how they power our new stadium, as long as the lights turn on for the night games. I will say, I'm not a fan of wasting taxpayer money. I pay too much in taxes.
