Ouch!... With LA Tech and UTSA both leaving the WAC to join UNT and FIU in C-USA, there won't be much in the way of FBS programs for the Belt to rebuild with. I think they'd be better off staying at 9.

I don't think the BOR would have this on their agenda if they didn't expect an invitation in the near future.

It doesn't matter if you have Manning, Brady, or Montana under center, if he's playing behind a 3rd string CFL line, because you can't draft anyone worth a flip, and he doesn't have enough weapons around him. Williams wasn't worth all the picks the Saints gave up. Walker wasn't worth all the picks Dallas gave up. I guess it could work, but I've never seen it work.

I think Benford is a quality coach. I was just expecting someone with head coaching experience. I think he will be a good hire, but we probably won't know for a few years. The team we have coming back is so loaded, I could probably stand on the sideline with a clip board, and watch them beat most of the other Sun Belt teams next season, and I don't know much about basketball. Having said that... He's our coach, and I wish him and the team nothing but the best. Go Mean Green.

I like the night kickoffs. A morning game makes me feel like the N.O. Bowl is just a warm-up for fans tailgating at other bowl games that day. Hopefully this won't be our problem much longer.

Very proud of our guys. They did a great job of coming from behind and closing the round out strong. I was keeping up with the tourney on golfstat all day.

Very sad news. Pops was a great guy. Not many real blues men left. I'm going to miss him.

I agree. Even with a few players out, I thought the team looked good. Very pleased with the way the D played. I still have concerns about our RB position. Our backs are good, but still haven't seen one with the extra gear Dunbar had. But, overall, I think we look better than we did at the last Spring Game. I think that's all we could really hope for.

I was able to find one pair in my size of 10 1/2, not that I have any need to wear them. When I got home a saw the had a #5 on the back of them. Anyone know Dunbar's shoe size?

If we go that route and don't care about baggage, then I'd rather go hire Capel's old boss. I bet Kelvin Sampson would love another shot at head coach.
