I agree. I think we were even talking about this at the TSU game. Our backs are good as a unit and Jimmerson seems to be the best combo of power and shiftyness, but none seem to have great breakaway speed like Dunbar. We got spoiled.

No. The Belt is showing some signs of life, but few will remember these wins and close games at the end of the season when bowl bids are handed out and C-USA has 6 or 7 teams selected, and the Belt has 2 or 3. Despite the Belts current success, C-USA will remain the better conference.

Kentucky is a bottom feeder in the SEC. They are not a football factory like some of our Texas programs. I can't even think of a good Texas program to compare them to. I think they are more like Indiana and WKU is more like Indiana State. It's an upset, but they beat a weak team, not a title contender, or even middle of the pack team. Congratulations, WKU looks good, but it was Kentucky. I thought ULM was more impressive in their loss to Auburn.

Although we lost this game, our team continues to show heart, and we played K-State better then Miami did. After watching some of the other Sun Belt teams this weekend, I feel we can play with most of them. And as for Houston, they have to be concerned about this Mean Green team traveling to Robertson on Oct. 6th. The bowl situation should take care of itself. Go Mean Green!!!

Obama and his administration are a disgrace. His weak foreign policy and support for the Arab Spring have led to these tragedies, regardless of what his press secretary says, and every honest, level-headed American knows it. All the sarcasm and wit from liberals on this board won't change that.

Everyone watches the game differently. As long as they are at the game, and get loud at the right times in the game, I'm okay with how they cheer. My biggest problem is people that bring their kids to the game and let them run all around hiting people in the head with towels and pom poms. Bring your kids. We need more Mean Green fans. Let them be as loud and cheer all they want, but let them do it at their seats.

I think we still need to work on our Green Out. It would make more sense for the Green Out to be our tradition.

UNT is now on the rise. With the move to conference C-USA, Apogee, coach Mac, and several seasons of additional athletic fees, North Texas should pass other programs in not just Texas but all of the FBS. The reall question is will the giant North Texas Alumni base rise up, take pride in our university, and support this program?

I guess Josh never heard the saying, "Don't bite the hand that feeds you". I grew up a Longhorn fan. Watched all their games when I was a kid, but I don't cheer for them when they play UNT. I don't think White loves NT. If he did, he wouldn't side with LSU over the university that gave him an education.

Missouri might be open to the idea. Now that they are in the SEC, they won't be playing many games in Texas. They might like a game in DFW. I have no interest in bringing Texas St. to Apogee.
