LOL! Near the end of the 2nd, I told my wife USM might accuse us with bullying, after we went up 41-7. Can't remember the last time I saw UNT paste 41 on a team in the first half of a game.

Rudy's in Denton said they will be showing the game tonight, and they will play it over their speakers too. BBQ and Mean Green football... Should be a fun evening!

I couldn't watch the Tulane game on DirecTV either. I don't have the sports package that includes it. I need to find a good family friendly place to watch the game against Sothern Miss.

I don't get Fox College Sports, but want to go see the game with my family. Are there any family friendly establishments showing the game tomorrow?

I agree. The LA Tech crowd was fairly quiet most of the game. The loudest part of the broadcast was the North Texas Chants. My wife was watching Oklahoma in the bedroom, while I was sitting in my recliner watching UNT. She stopped watching her game and came into the living room when she heard the North Texas chant. Don't know how many UNT fans traveled to Ruston, but you guys sound great on T.V.! Personally, I'd love for the team to lead a North Texas chant at the beginning of every home game. They could do it when they run out to the 50 with the flag. I think it would be a nice way to warm up the crowd. Might even bother the opposition too.

I like it too. This will be a great topic after we play Southern Miss next Saturday.

Why have a Florida State avatar if you are a die hard Southern Miss fan? Doesn't make sense to me. Way too much cussing.

Very sad to hear this news. I was a huge fan of Bum, and shook his hand once. I grew up in Houston watching the Oilers during their "Luv Ya Blue" days.

Texas and Oklahoma would never let another large public university from Texas join the Big 12. To answer your question... No. I can't see North Texas leaving C-USA in the next decade. I think it is more likely that C-USA develops into a stronger conference under its new configuration. The western division has a real chance to grow intense rivalries and post large attendance numbers. If the west can do that, C-USA will see an increase in perception and media interest. The P5s aren't going to add any of us in C-USA.

That's my point. We had a great night, and I thought our attendance was solid. We need to enjoy it. TCU can't even get 10,000 to show up and watch them play a Big 12 team.

TCU claimed 41,894 against Kansas yesterday. We had a great game and a great crowd. Lets just enjoy it.

My wife and I sit in 205 next to MeanGreenTexan and his wife. We have a great time and make as much noise as we can. Nobody sits in front of us, so we don't yell in anyone's ears. I can't hear the other sections, but we do get loud in 205. I have no voice today.

I saw them today too. The wife and I were talking a few weeks ago about the need for flags in the Wingzone, but we envisioned about 10 large Battle Flags spanning the wedge.

Coach Johnson has Tulane at the top of the C-USA West with a 4-2 record after beating UNT. Coach Johnson is in his second year at Tulane. This loss really hurts. When will UNT turn the corner?

The worst part of it is... UNT did come back. After all the penalties and turnovers, we were tied with Tulane at the end of this game. Tied up with 3 minutes left in the game, and we couldn't get a stop when the game was on the line.
