So what would you think if we moved along with Rice, UTSA (eww) and UTEP? Basically if we moved all Texas teams... not saying it will ever happen but does it change your view?

I only want to go if we can move with several Texas institutions west. Even though the status of CUSA has taken a hit I enjoy being in a conference with other Texas schools

Agreed I was mad about this bowl at first and mostly for selfish reasons because I can’t attend. But it’s a good bowl vs a quality opponent and the watch party will be a blast! GMG!

Ha I graduated 8 years ago and I was screaming so loud last night I almost have no voice... I went back and forth with a ref during one of the timeouts...made me feel like I did when I was a student

The section is still called the Pit Crew, but when i was in school from 2007-2010 (during JJ era) i remember they use to do events and giveaways to attract students and the sga had a dedicated pit crew group ( i believe it was sga, i could be wrong) but i see students sitting all over the pit now...including a group of 10 or so that sat right next to me on the opposite side of the court yesterday in the GA section.

i spoke with a student at the game yesterday and was telling him what the pit crew was like when we were in school. i am sad to learn their is not a dedicated organization used to set up event/giveaways for the pit crew anymore. i believe it was apart of sga at one time

I’m at the Pit tonight, good crowd in here about 15 min until tip and I am sure it will fill in more! Should be a fun atmosphere tonight. Ready to beat UTA!
