only thing i can think of, this staff is unsure if they will be back after this season, if Tulsa offered him a deal for 2 or 3 years, at least he knows he has a job after this season....not saying its right for him to bail so close to the season or that im happy...because this truly sucks...but if this is why it happened i can at least understand it.

i came on here to ask the same exact thing...in my first year as a student, 07, we played Western here at the pit....08 road, 09 road, 10 road....how the hell is this allowed....i want them at the PIT but this semester is my last and it looks like i wont get it other then that i love this schedule and im happy the Tech, Rice, and UTA games are all before i graduate in December!!!!

Im an RTVF student and a DJ at KNTU....nothing wrong with the way or station is run or the people who run it. remember that every on-air person you hear is a student and we are all learning and adapting to something we hope is our future career. so take it easy on bashing something that means alot to the university.

I joined this site about a week after i moved on campus as a transfer student in 07...i didn't know a dam thing about UNT or its sports teams, i am now a fully passionate crazy mean green wig wearing nut. Its all because of this site and the friends i have made. Thank you Harry and everyone else running this site. I may not know or have been around for the history of north texas, but as a student and soon to be alum (graduating dec 2010) i hope we have some great new history with the new stadium and a bright future for the mean green nation. CAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!

I have to say...as a mean green fan...last season's game on THE STAGE at UTA was an aboslute blast...double OT and the crowd really into it....probably almost 50/50 fan wise and it was NUTS in their...the stage had a unique atmosphere, and what it lacked in comfort it made up for in uniqueness...plus this rivalry seems really strong right now.

i am pretty sure the last 3 or 4 home basketball games were at 3,000 + which brought up our attendance in a down year...the hype of another 20 win team and winning the division made people come out to those games and we also had a good student showing at Hot Springs...one of the problems with the attendance number is we had a noon game this season and i think 4 home games during Christmas break, that killed our overall numbers, better scheduling needs to be done to take advantage of when us students are in town....i really think we are building our foundation of students and i think attendance will be 3,500 + on average for the season next year/

To me this actually looks really cool and i like the style they are going in. i hope they do make this a movie.

isnt this year 4 out of 5 for dodge? my guess is if he meets 7 wins we keep him for the 5th year, if we are at 6 or less he is gone after year 4. i dont see us offering an extension for 1 good year.

I would expect a bigger turnout then Ok St a few years ago...a Texas big 12 school coming to the pit to face our North Texas team with 4 20 win seasons in a row... a few years ago we were coming off our first NCAA apperence since 88 and we played an out of state big 12 team and got 6,000+. their is no reason that, with all the success we have had over the last 4 years...and with this being a big 12 team from within texas...that we shouldnt have 7,000 +.
