The stuff they say about this place and some of the people here is just down right stupid. i am going to cancel my user name over there becuase i dont believe in what they say. Go Mean Green is a much better place and Harry knows i love gmg and i honestly dont think posting the URL will hurt GMG or Harry in anyway.

this is what i find weird...i have yet to say that yet people keep saying that's what i mean...i dont want the team to turn their back on em, i want them to help them through it, but i just dont believe they deserve to act like they are on the team when they are not eligible. that's the last im going to say, i guess its just my pet peeve and how i feel. i also hope they make the grades and join us again next season, i think they are great talents.

It not that i want the team to "turn their backs" or anything like that. i hope they still hang out with the guys during non-basketball times and are studying and going to class with their teamates. i have no problem with them watching the games from the stands of the pit, they can do all the supporting they want. i just feel they do not deserve the PRIVILEGE to wear the warmup's, sit on the bench, be in the timeout's ect...anything basketball related should be taken away untill they have proven they can handle the academic end of school. i want them here, hell i think we are the tourny favorites right now if we had em. i just feel like they dont deserve anything yet they get everything but being in the game. that is a punishment, just not big enough to me. I hope the rest of the team kicks ass and runs the table. Go Mean Green!

Hey that's my line.

Its not me being a high horse....it the fact that playing and BEING on the Unt basketball team is a PRIVILEGE and NOT a right. To me...and its just my personal opinion, they dont deserve to be on the bench or around the team untill the academic issues are taken care of....just my two cents.

i honestly believe they dont deserve to be with the team or on the bench, home or away. they didnt do what they needed to do to deserve being a d-1 athlete, why do they get to be with the team and hang out on the bench? they coulda been doing homework last night.

One thing i noticed during our "run" to get back into the game, as much as i like tyler hall, he was getting DESTROYED on the defensive end by #14 for Middle. 14 could just blow by him everytime. when we went on our run, JJ subbed in Trey Norris, who i felt played great D on the kid from middle, as soon as we took norris out and put hall back in (stayed that way for the rest of the game) middle opened it back up to a six point lead and we never got closer then 2 pts...just something i noticed, was really impressed with norris's D last night. great game overall, and the atmosphere was electric. i was told the crowd was better then the lsu crowd, that says alot that we can outdraw a sec team with a belt team (albeit a dam good belt team). the refs sucked as usual and honestly screwed both teams badly.

first game i made all season and tony doesnt dunk but Middle's D was pretty dam good (and cheap at times) still think we beat em in hot springs.

We have been playing well. And just as i write this they tie it up and force a turnover. But we have definitely played them tough

ok so maybe i am stretching the truth a little...but these games are BIG. im excited that my first two games in the pit this season will be this double header. Womens game: our team is much improved, i give us a 5% shot of winning, just cause we are at home. while i think we give a great effort, i just dont see us pulling it out. but i hope we do! Mens game: i think we have about a 30% just because of t-mitch and being in the pit, give me a healthy holmen and i would say 35%. If we had williams and jones i woulda said 60% I really really hope we pull it out, but wont be crushed if we dont. i think its a close game. what is everyone's opinion of the games tomorrow? GO Mean Green!

I think the turnout will be pretty big. im headed down for the game, driving six hours but its well worth it. i think others will make the trip to the pit too. GMG
