    just wanted to let you all know. i took the sports broadcasting class in 2009. its now taught by Hank Dickenson. Hank still uses many of the same techniques from Mr. Mercer. I also had the privilege of hearing Mr. Mercer talk in our class and is a great guy. wish i was around when he was our broadcaster (not that George and Hank don't do a good job, they are great too)

    i have no doubt the right way to build this program is through high school kids on both the local and national level. Juco route is only one you travel when desperate (ala Dodge)

    Yesterday, i was at a McDonalds drive thru right near the missouri-arkansas border. Im about to drive up to the window when i see a mcdonalds employee who was throwing away trash tap on my window. I roll it down and he says "i see on the back of you car it says Univeristy of North Texas" i told him i was an alum who graduated in 2010. He says "cool, my sister went their too, nice school, Go Mean Green"...then he walked off...and i picked up my lunch. i thought it was pretty neat.

    yes...he has been the AD at newman for a couple of years now, he was part of the reason we played them in exibition basketball games a few seasons ago and he came back for those games.

    If yall listen, please let us know either good or bad if u like it and we like compliments and critisims. were trying to make this a good quality weekly podcast for the mean green faithful and in no way shape or form are we trying to compete with Evan or Harry and their super awesome podcast.

    i think is one of the most underrated hires we have ever had at UNT. To bring in a former head coach with 40 YEARS of experence to help out our new head coach is phenominal! GO Mean Green!
