  1. McNulty in his senior season will be DT 2.0 - and some who shake their head about AM insist DT should be first ballot HOF.
  2. Certainly production is much more important but what else do we have to talk about? Come on - Top 5 most talented/athletic on the team. You make a list. I'll make a list. Not that any of it matters just interested in your thoughts versus mine.
  3. Agreed. Also - no one should sleep on Tucker. He's legit. Hey Billy - since you mentioned it how bout you list who you think those top 5 are.
  4. "said the student was found after her roommate alerted the apartment manager about a bad odor coming from the womans room." Im no forensic scientist but I feel like it takes a bit for a body to start stinking up an apartment. How can you be so dislocated from your roommate you don't notice anything is amiss until you smell an odor?
  5. Thanks for the write up. Cedric Fernandes is listed on the roster as a 5'10" 165lb DB and we are playing him at LB?
  6. Taxable value and market value are typically different. As an example a house across the street from me just sold for nearly $150k more than it's taxable value - and while I don't know the ins and outs of commercial real estate, Id say you probably have to pay value of property PLUS earning potential of that property factored in over a number of years since the property owner won't be able to collect those rents once it is sold.
  7. So we're getting another QB!
  8. Never knew it. Thanks for pointing that out. For those interested here is an interesting article about how and why it came to be considered the flag of the Confederacy. http://www.americancivilwarstory.com/confederate-flag.html
  9. His was a unique brand of zen.
  10. I watched him snap a white board in half during a game while explaining to the defense what they'd done wrong.
  11. The average tenure for an AD in Division 1 NCAA Collegiate Athletics is 6.78 years. http://www.sportsbusinessdaily.com/Journal/Issues/2014/06/09/In-Depth/Wong-column.aspx
  12. 3 Min video of her here: http://www.texassports.com/coaches.aspx?path=wbball&rc=517
  13. The husband/wife co-coach duo seems odd to me - from a financial standpoint as well as a who has the last say standpoint.
  14. Lots of chatter on twitter about it although some sources are saying it has to do with celebrating the year anniversary of Crimea. Did see one tweet that spoke of tanks and that the cathedral was burning. Also not sure why you'd dim the lights at the Kremlin in honor of Crimea. And still no sightings of Putin.
  15. Construction work has started at the historic Dallas Municipal Courts building, which could become the home of theUniversity of North Texas Dallas College of Law. The city-owned building was made infamous by the shooting of accused John F. Kennedy assassin Lee Harvey Oswald. The construction underway is funded from a $14 million city bond set aside about nine years ago as part of the deal to provide a home for a public law school. Another $2 million pledged to the school from the city has yet to be funded. The city's work on the building entails repairing the roof of the building and addressing some of the deferred maintenance on the property, which will protect the municipal building for the law school to come in at a later date. "We are very happy to see they are moving forward to protect the building," UNT Chancellor Lee Jackson told theDallas Business Journal."We have a partner that has put significant local funds and really gone to work." At the same time, Jackson and other UNT leaders are headed to Austin to ask the Texas legislature for $56 million to complete the renovations at the Dallas Municipal Courts building to move the law school from its current location at the UNT System building on Main Street to the adjacent facility. The UNT System has beensearching for the funds for the project for quite some time. The university system is also asking the legislature for $60 for a library and student success center at UNT's Dallas campus, $80 million for a new research building at UNT's Health Science Center at Fort Worth, and $70 million for a visual arts and design facility on UNT's campus in Denton. More info here: http://www.bizjournals.com/dallas/news/2015/03/11/work-begins-on-downtown-dallas-law-school-building.html
  16. “We thought it would happen, but not this fast,” Villarreal said of Aston leaving UNT for another school. “It’s an unfortunate part of the business.” Aston has a buyout in her contract, requiring her to pay $114,375 — nine months of her base salary — to UNT for breaking her five-year contract.
  17. The mock ups of the baseball stadium I was shown in the last year or two included upgrades to both softball and soccer fields that will be done concurrently during baseball construction. And the upgrades were substantial.
  18. What's the story with Nate Grimm? I missed him coming aboard. 1 year at NMSU and transfers out - close to 3700 all purpose yards during his Senior season in HS. 40 TDs 22/18 - How'd he wind up here and is he here as a QB or an athlete?
  19. Gotta be worth some sort of award for your mom, dad and brother. They should make the HOF at least as the same time as DT. Hence forth your brother shall be known as "Super Pit_________insert actual name here" (Hopefully his name is Paul, Peter, Mitt, Cliff, even Chris will do."
  20. Whitfield graduated early hence him moving on. Jones also graduated.
  21. Really any stout/porter. My faves being seasonal: Souther Tier Choklat, Odell Lugene, any of 903's stouts, Founders Breakfast etc. So let's call it a bet shall we - I say Arkansas wins the SEC West this season. You say they don't. Winner gets a sixer. (Or 4-pack as the case may be.) And to keep this somewhat related to NT Scheduling - let's hope no North Texas WR breaks his leg when we play the Hogs in 2018 a la Zach Muzzy.
  22. Let's wager shall we? Do you have a favorite beer or whiskey? I'll go ahead and say they win the West this year.
