Look, nobody's job is on the line here. Now, that does not mean it should or should not be, or whether we should or should not demand better. But again, Mac will be back for year 4 no matter what happens this season, like it or not. And that's just my opinion.

Yea, and if you don't open up the offense when you roll BB out to take advantage of his ability, what difference does it make? No qb is going to look good using the present play book.

The OC can only do as much as the head coach lets him. I can't imagine that Chico has full autonomy in running the offense and this is the system he came with. For example, there are not that many teams with 9 tight ends. Mac is a defense guy who likes the ground game. To me, he is simply ultra conservative in his approach to the offense. You would think the time at USF and especially Florida would have had some effect on that. But King, and I am just asking, but you were never a big fan of Chico even during his first year here, right?

Emmitt, the athletic department can't even coordinate the Mean Green March. Seems some important people that are involved are just not approachable about such things. Oldguy, other schools in Texas are able to pull it off without full unis. Seems traditions can start and flourish at other schools, but not here.

I wouldn't be so sure of that. If somebody had a different perspective, it would do no good for them to write about it because his opinion fits with what the majority here wants to hear. Not that it's a problem, that's what makes sports fun.

Agree. La Tech's offensive coordinator is still there, so the guys hitting the field this year should know the offense. By the way Correcamino, Scotty Young played his high school ball here at Denton Ryan. He is gamer, just got caught up in the coaching shuffle at Tx Tech.

Yes, Mac coaches his full 5 year contract. So he will be back not only in 2014, but in 2015 as well. No source, just my own thought.

Yes, Johnny does need to take responsibility. But what surprises me is how Coach Sumlin has handled Manziel. I know stars are treated differently, but it seems Sumlin does not hold him accountable for anything off the field. Could be issues between AM and the Manziel family, I have no idea. Just thought Sumlin was a tougher coach than what he has shown through this.
