  1. How about a "dozen shades of green" out?
  2. Why don't we play the football game at halftime and have the bands play four quarters?
  3. Reading the constant negativity toward the band by a few leads me to understand how our students and athletes, both present and former, end up with an attitude like Josh White.
  4. Just in....I heard he was still going to root for Scottsdale CC and Kansas.
  5. I think Benford is smart enough to know that Tech is no dream job, and it would not be the best move on a lot of levels. Johnny has been part of some past glory, while there has been no glory at Tech.
  6. And we thought we had problems with 1 player not wanting to come here in Odoh, and another Norris leaving.
  7. The Range does have an iPhone app.
  8. Rest easy, the food is being provided by the restraunts. The AD is not putting any money out for food.
  9. TxDOT put the main structure in place at the end of July, when Interstate 35E was shut down overnight. There is still welding to be completed, and the construction crew has to finish up the railings. “There’s a lot of concrete work,” Releford said. Before the bridge can officially open, UNT has to install the connecting sidewalks. “The paving needs to be ready before we open the bridge at all,” Bailey said. Construction on the $2.5 million project began in February. UNT paid $1 million of that, as well as donating the right of way to the land on either side of the interstate. The rest of the project was paid for by regional toll revenue. The sidewalks that will be added will be paid for by the university, Bailey said. The sidewalks will be handicapped-accessible and will include lighting. Just guessing. But it can't open until it is 100% ADA compliant. I was just reading between the lines. The sidewalks could have been worked on long before the bridge went up.
  10. It is not TXDOT. It is because of sidewalks and compliance with the ADA, so it is UNT for you.
  11. Florida Atlantic will be tough. Carl Pelini will have them ready to play.
  12. It is just the fan zone or fan fanatic site I think.
  13. Yea, but never hear about Atheists on the scene of a hurricane or tornado either.
  14. LOL understood and thanks for clarifying.
  15. "As for the activists, I completely applaud them for standing up for what they believe in (especially considering they're right), and I support them 100%. If someone wants to boycott CFA, fine. If someone, for whatever reason, completely agrees with CFA and supports them, that's fine too, as dumb as it may be" Just could not help it could you? I respected your opinion until this point, didn't think you were dumb or anything because of it. Didnt agree. But you couldn't just state your opinion and move on, you had to sling a little mud.
  16. Basketball team stays in Mozart, at Eagle and UNT Blvd
  17. Thanks for your hard work! I am sure the businesses in Denton were glad to have a football poster instead of the latest vegan coop market poster, or some sort of weird Indy band playing at Dan's. *No offense meant to a certain coop person here, just directed at weird Denton.
  18. Here is a link to TX DOT Camera page: http://www.txdot.gov...fic_cameras.htm . Right now, the nearest camera to the bridge is at the 35E & 35W split. However it is pointing north but maybe it rotates, I don't know.
  19. The closed practice was listed, may still be, as a benefit for certain levels of giving in the MGC brochure. However, Mac has kept fall football practices closed, and to date, there has not been one whereas Mean Green Club members were invited. There was a practice last year before the first game to which former lettermen, faculty, and player's families were invited. I believe it was a Saturday scrimmage. When I asked about the closed practice issue for MGC members, I was told it was Mac's sole decision as to who is invited. I think inviting the lettermen, faculty, and parents is a good decision. Most especially, there needs to be better relations with the faculty, as we can all agree has not been the case in relation to the athletic program. As for the lettermen, it is a good thing to get them back on board for the future as we have for to many who may not have been back to a game since their last play in a uniform.
  20. You would be correct sir. Best cold drinks in town.
  21. Took this photo earlier today. As many of you know, Little Guys Movers provides the equipment truck for road games and the paint scheme for this year is pretty cool! Thanks Little Guys!
  22. And does he rent or own a home? Somebody here has got to know.
