Lifer, don't worry, la la will be in our conference sooner than later. Western Ky, and Arky St won't be far behind. I can't imagine that S. Miss, Marshall, and Central Florida are thrilled with the eastern division of Conference USA right now.

Lots of folks wearing Frog gear that have no TCU ties in the Metroplex. People like a winner. Will never approach Cowboys level, but they are ahead of us and SMU as for as getting the casual fan to follow them. Even met a couple at the PAris Coffee Shop, near TCU that are TCU season ticket holders. Guess where they met and went to school? North Texas

I would add that when you get into 3rd and long, 4th and long like this team did so often, then you are not going to have much success no matter what you do.

One of the reasons he probably wears Sanchez's jersey is because Sanchez's Dad is a fireman in the LA area I believe. There weren't problems like this until it became popular for fans to wear their teams' jersey. Unfortunately, many are to stupid to hold onto reality and realize they aren't actually part of the team.

Bet we won't know who the starting QB is at the end of spring practice. I say we won't know until maybe the Monday before the home opener against Idaho. Mac will play this QB competition close to the vest.

I have no doubt that Mac and his staff are working hard to get good recruits in here. However, I think it would have helped to have hired some Texans on his coaching staff that have experience and connections in the state.
