We need a coach with ties to TX high schools.

Well, there was a coach's show tonight at Rudy's in Denton. There was also a mike where you could ask Benford any questions you want in person. So since you live in Krum, perhaps you can come to a show.

I don't know what or who to believe in regards to the reasons as to why this team and season is a complete disaster! This season is another "Waterloo" moment that we continue to have happen with our athletic program at NorthTexas.

Gosh Quoner, I didn't realize I was in a technical writing class. I understood what NT03 was alluding to and was just making generic comment. LOL

Seriously, I hope Tony Mitchell continues attending class just in case he stays another year. I understand that as the draft draws near, he may not be able to due to having to visit the teams and go through workouts. But hopefully he goes to class until he has more of an idea where he might go in the draft based on facts, not speculation of a few bloggers and scouts who really are not the decision makers for their team

Lets not start destroying ourselves from the inside. First, FOTW along with his wife have done much to support this university and most especially the athletic program. There are a few projects that might not have been possible without them and a very few others. . I am aware of how they became involved with UNT Athletics and the sacrifice that they made to do it. I can assure you he is not riding any coat tails around here. FOTW also made it possible for an ancient old student to attend school by providing him a job at his business. I would encourage to listen to their stories and thank them for their support. Kram and Emmitt are a couple of our greatest fans to. They support the program with time, money, and work. We could use 500 more like them. Thanks to both of you for what you do. Many could learn from your examples.

Please see our last game or 2 with Rice. Also, if you want to overhype something and see how that works out, then check out the basketball season. Look, I hope you are right. But unless we open this offense, get a pass rush, and a few other things we will struggle. Also, please point out, recruiting wise, the "building blocks" (i know about Brock, Pegram, etc) that Mac has brought in that you will look back and say those guys were what put us over the top. Looking back at Dickey; Cobbs Jamario, Booger, Kassel all come to mind. So who are they?

Yea, and bring in another. Then we can suck under another OC. Again, the OC runs the offense as to the type of system dictated by the head coach. So if you think this is the same offense we had in 2010, I would suggest you borrow some game films of then and now.

Well, I would research what Iowa St. asst. coach was responsible for the quarterbacks under Mac, and if he is not here already, then you have your answer. (but I do agree with you)

Fire "somebody" on the offensive staff? Really? The blame for our offensive system rests with Mac. The staff is just following orders. Must have been a survey when Mac was hired that we wanted to see the tight end involved, so he has taken TE use to a whole new level.
