JJ will make close games exciting to the end, especially in the last two minutes. Sometimes it works, and sometimes like last night, it doesn't. You won't be bored.

Pretty unfair to George considering the heart he has for UNT and how he has supported us over the years. If it were not for him, we would never be mentioned on his show which is ranked among the highest rated listened to radio shows in the US. No it's not often, but we could use a lot more publicity with the DFW media. He doesn't need this gig and could do like most of our alumnae, sit home and not even give UNT the time of day. Blake is mentioned about how good of a job he does every week by the opinion that matters, Mac's.

Yea, but due to his Dad not listening to a couple of player's parents advising him how to handle himself on the message boards (especially concerning Thompson), a target is now on his son. Probably would not have been mentioned or noticed otherwise right now.

I understand the disappointment, but If I was that Dad and had not heard anything within 3 days of Tuberville getting the job, I am tracking Tuberville down. Especially since signing day was less than 2 months away at the time of Tuberville's hire. Yes I agree Tuberville should have called ALL of the commitments and let them know their status ASAP, I say within 48 hours. A lot of these coaches only have loyalty to themselves these days, not even their own teams. Anybody remember the fit he threw when Auburn interviewed Petrino? What an a-hole.

I was planning to go see it as well. For those wondering, the letter(the real deal) that Travis wrote while under siege and before dying at the Alamo wrote. It will only be on display from Feb 23 to March 7.

Travis's letter is the one that will be on display at The Alamo. Just didn't want you to be disappointed or look like a complete dork. LOL

Well.....a shameful attempt at diplomacy on my part. Truthfully, I have not seen much.

I just don't get the tv stuff. Some of these games are buried so deep in the cable/Directv/dish channels that you almost have to accidentally tune to them while surfing. Besides, I never have seen the SMU games on as part of games being showed at sports bars on Saturday in Dallas. So I guess they get bring in revenue, but as for as millions watching, I think it is a reach.

As good as say CJ and JW are, they are still 2 or 3 levels below Tony at this point in their careers. Don't misunderstand, they are way above average players who will only get better in time as ling as some of the other issues get corrected within the program. Sometimes I think it would be better if they played within there own level rather than trying to raise the bar to a point that they simply can't get to right now. Besides, most of Tony's evaluation by the NBA have been based on the camps he attended and his play in Team USA, not on much of anything here at UNT. In some of the mock draft reports, they have said it is hard to evaluate due to the level of competition in the Sun Belt.

Don't beat yourself up, Trussbad is a bigger critic.

No, that would make to much sense.

So RV didn't answer his phone when you called? Did he not return your call or answer your e-mail? Was he in when you stopped by his office? Unlike us, he is not going to choose a side in public. He can't and I would think you would understand. Oh, a lack of money is a big reason that we can't make changes that many want, so that part of your thinking is spot on. That part sounds like somebody who really cares.
