  1. Hope am agent didn't talk to Tony because hie would be gone now. That is a no no.
  2. Yea, Mitchell's fouls were Benford's fault. Jordan and Roger continue to out hustle the lottery pick.
  3. Are you going to enter Kram? You can show off those legs!
  4. I would hope his coach supports him. Also, isn't he also signing a LOI with Blinn just in case?
  5. Correct. Kram, you don't know Thomas given your soccer background in Denton?
  6. I hope not for Tony's sake. Though it would be cool to see him in a Mavs jersey, he needs a fresh start away from Dallas/Denton.
  7. Kicker from Denton was Thomas Bresnahan
  8. Does anybody know if he was mentioned in Fran's latest top 25 on ESPN Insider? I saw Chad Ford's that put him at 21.
  9. Seriously, you felt moved to take that kind of shot at a fellow fan? Way out of line, and even as passionate as it gets with views here on this board, uncalled for.
  10. Drex, I agree with most of your post. However, had Tony not had to sit out, he would be midway through his junior season here, at another university, or even in the NBA by now. I agree it is hard to not get touches, and have 3 bodies on you when you do. But nobody should come close to him on the defensive end in our conference. So, how long is he going to be "young"? He should be mature enough (and hungry) by now to step it up, especially with a "millions of dollars future" at stake. He has shown he can turn it on, but can also turn it off at will.
  11. After tonight, I am glad the DFW media does not cover us much. The sad part is it is nights like this that they don't. Cannot believe that next Thursday's game will be on Channel 21. That needs to be cancelled. There will not be much of a crowd.
  12. Probably has the same passion for Miizzou as he had for us
  13. Don't disagree, but I think Mac was Rawlins"s pick from the beginning. But we are both right since Rawlins is 150 and won't be around more than likely when Mac is done here anyway. So Rick will take the fall or get credit.
  14. Heat will be a factor in attendance if we are still having 100+ degree days. I think it would make a real difference if the game was at 7 PM instead of 6 PM. Hope you are right though.
  15. Did anybody from UNT even take a look at him?
  16. Sorry, I think the decision to hire. Mac was made by Rawlins.
  17. Harry, this guy really stays with his blocks. Height hurts him as for as playing OT in college, but he could play guard or center. However medium interest, no visits, and no ranking looks like grades might be an issue. He does not quit on his blocks!
  18. Not quite, but politicians in Alabama threatened to cut back state funding if Alabama and Auburn didn't start back their rivalry several years ago when they had stopped playing each other. Or at least something along those lines, so they started playing again.
  19. They probably are not the only school with financial problems like this. The win now and pay later is a one cause. Another is the economy of the last few years causing 55 and up donors to pull back due to diminishing retirement funds. And these are donors who generally give the most. $200 million seems to indicate a lack of financial control, even with coaches contracts that they talk about in the article.
  20. I would like to add the lack of leadership in coordinating these groups to create a much better game day experience. For example, could someone not call ahead and let the band/cheerleaders/etc know that the team is leaving the hotel. Then everybody could get lined up. We have had more than a few times when the Mean Green march is just thrown together. This is just one example. There have been issues with the cannon, not to mention the mis-timing of cheers, band miscues, etc during the games. I know none of this translates to wins on the field, but it is funny how traditions at other schools contribute to the success of the program.
  21. The Denton County location on Sunset is now the original. Kim sold the one on the square and they are completely changing it up. Just FYI
  22. Pancho's is nasty and Hooyah's is long gone.
  23. Ranchman's in Ponder....it is owned by a UNT alum.
  24. All seats are pretty good, you will be able to get close to the floor as the ushers don't check that close. There will be plenty of tix. There is a comfort suite close to the pit as well as The Hampton. Good places to eat include Rudy's BBQ, Tx Roadhouse, and Chili's. . Mainly fast food joints near the campus.
